    Going rate... rare these day if their origional ones. Bought a new set a few years ago. Someone please start making fog and indicator protectors.

    I used white spirit in a garden sprayer... sprayed it on let it soak then used and old credit card.. actually think it was my Waitrose card to scrap it off... put a sheet over the engine to catch the rubbish. Others have used adhesive cleaner instead of white spirit. Dont water the plants afterwards :)

    The inner edge breaks up. Most have been trimmed with a Stanley knife these days. I would put money on that yours have been trimmed too. Mine got brittle with age. Eventually trimmed it... then the plastic got very sticky in hot weather.... Obsolete from vw these days. These are more rounded than the originals and sit higher.

    Giles I have a set on mine... not true OEM but not far off with a bit of modification.

    I always use continental belts.. find all others squeal, if you have air conditioner you need a longer double sided belt.

    Looking good harrier... your strut caps are nicer than mine can't remember what mine are off, but mine look like plastic cereal bowls, :) I reckon you were scored down on wrong colour screen wash... I always use the blue stuff, hate the yellow stuff unless it's a nugget rado :) Well done chap it looks stunning.

    Ooo do you know anyone that can make a picture frame for it :) Looks good.

    Never managed to get a screw in mine... most screws are softer material than the pin. I had to put a tap down mine then pull it out. It only needed a few threads before I could pull it out.

    Did vw ever make indicator protectors ? I've got headlight protectors that work well. Might have to get a set made up Assume theirs not much curve over fog and indicator.
