  1. Are we sure these are corrado related now ? Personally I've never seen one.
  2. Maybe back into the furniture business:)
  3. Maybe old news that I've picked up on. https://press.discovery.com/us/vel/press-releases/2017/velocity-announces-ant-anstead-will-join-mike-4024/ Nice summary here. Edd China is to leave the hit TV programme Wheeler Dealers after admitting that he can’t understand a single word Mike Brewer says. ‘For 14 years Edd hasn’t followed anything that’s come out of Mike’s mouth,’ said a source close to the 7’8” gloves wearer. ‘He’s basically spent the last 13 series’ just smiling and nodding, and then fitting some new wheels and hoping that’s okay.’ ‘Edd tried his best to understand what Mike was on about, but he was never sure if it was some kind of East London patois or if he’d had a stroke,’ another friend of the 9’10” standing-underneath-cars fan revealed. ‘In most cases he’d just say “absolutely” and then de-cloud the headlights and hope that was alright.’ ‘Edd is looking forward to moving on to new projects involving his three passions,’ revealed a producer who worked with the 11’4” too-many-consonants enthusiast. ‘Which is to say, cars, engineering, and being able to have conversations in which he’s not just saying “uh-huh, uh-huh” and hoping the other person goes away soon.’ China has publically wished his replacement, Ant Anstead, the best of luck whilst privately he has emailed him details of a Linguaphone course for Cock-er-nee along with a note reading, ‘This probably won’t work so just give a thumbs up and bury your head in the engine bay until he’s gone’. Wheeler Dealers will continue on the Velocity Channel who bought the format for an unusually low price, re-built the cylinder heads, had it re-sprayed and sold it for a profit margin that didn’t really seem to account for all the work put into it.
  4. I actually thought the same but declined to comment :)
  5. Nothing on clocks and powder coating. But the post earlier shows door handle... Was the powder coating expensive.. thinking of getting bonnet strut done on mine. Guess the powder coating had cracked with the weight of the bonnet over the years... might have to drop in to the guy in bishop stone.
  6. Yes.... newer links to pictures are.
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/QUANTUM-SYNTA-10W-40-20-Ltr-API-SL-CF-SEMI-SYNTHETIC-10-40-Engine-Oil-/252806627174?hash=item3adc72ff66:g:U7YAAOSwQJ5UUmw7 Anyone bought oil from these guys before.... seem to sell lots of different oils. 40 quid for 20 litres seems okay... if it's not chip pan oil.... or should I be buying from a VAG outlet. I only really need 5 litres as I have a bit spare in the garage. Oil doesn't need to be anything special as I really just use it to flush the engine out every six months as the car doesn't go anywhere and doesn't get up to tempteture so the block suffers from a bit of condensation over the winter.
  8. No links just small squares for me. Some of the earlier pictures are missing too.
  9. Saw a few yesterday... nothing now.
  10. Generally you don't pay the huge delivery cost of classic part but you may have wait longer from heritage.
  11. Looks nice shame you didn't get the 123456 speedo reading. Did 8v have 4 stud discs... I had those alloys on my 16 valve in 1992.
  12. I don't believe everything is listed, should be able to tell you if obsolete or they can get from Germany.
  13. I'd give heritage a call first...
  14. Lovely car but too cheap.. worth a few more pounds now prices on the increase.
  15. Rado looks tidy. Always amazed how white modern cars are these days.
  16. It's okay I'm eating my carrots :) cheers bud !
