so I've been looking at a G60 its a 92 model.... I know the VR6 had a mixture of early and late parts around this time.... but not sure on the G60. this car has early interior. with late bonnet, wings and grill but early chin spoiler... could It be a model that had left over bits from the parts bin. or were G60's all early cars, so this car has had a bit of an accident in the front. it says its an original car. thoughts please...

You also don't know how long your battery has been hanging around before you bought it. It would need a good charge... and I reckon as you've fitted a new head unit you have been setting it up and listening to a few tune while sitting in the car.

Battery's go flat without charging I'm afraid... it needs trickle charging if you don't use it or charging at least every month the cold weather doesn't help either... I don't use my car the battery can be flat after about a month. I change my battery regularly too. It could be possible that you have a drain somewhere too.

Nothing like a telling off on your first post.. If it's a broken lock. You're need to take the door card off and remove the clipped in door handle wire, to get the handle out. I was offered 10 % off a flu jab as a Black Friday deal in my local pharmacy today... I declined I also have seemed to manage to buy 40 chocolate oranges @ 50p each I did check the sell by date. Even the local estate agent has a deal today :)
