First check is sensors... Common fault... If you don't have vagcom you can put a volt metre across the terminal and check resistance.... Check all 4 if you have three within tolerance and one way off that's you answer.

Chuggs ...... Divina is the make of the after market airco. Air co was never a option. It was after market. I had mine fitted at a porker dealer in the mid 90's Tidy storm...

Never seen the abs light on the left before... My airco is where your abs light is.

Agree... Think the VR was in the region on 13k and the nugget about 8k but don't quote me... Low mileage vr's come up occasionally on the car and classic site... I regular look at the classic car sites as I'm after a lancia delta.

Cheers.. Euro car parts only stock dayco, which is a bit crafty as they show a picture of a conti belt on their website.... Theirs a few on ebay. But quite wary how old they are... Even though they say new I guess they are like tyres and the rubber goes off in time.... Halfords stock them but forty odd notes which is twice the price... Think I'm looking for 7dpk1360

No stories really... I bought this one, while I had my 16 valve and used the 16 valve as the daily in the 90's.... I kept hold of the 16v also in Aqua blue for a further 3 years then sold it with 30k on the clock. Loved that car more than this one it had recaros in it :) but glad I have the VR now.... I test drove a storm in the 90's. Nearly bought it but i found out it had been clocked... Regretted never kept the reg details of it... So their is at least one green storm about that has been clocked by 60k

Nothing to do with the stalling but what fuel are you putting in it.... It ideally should be super unleaded, it runs smoother on the expensive stuff.

Wayne don't give up now, your getting some where, theirs kind people here that will help you fix it... Anyway it will be a dull place without your questions :). If your serious about a new one you could be into a can of worms again unless you buy Sean's :) If you sold this would you be happy to sell to another person with the problems ?
