When I saw Mike at the classic car show he said he buys loads of carsfor the series and works on them altogether not one at a time. What's the odds on him sitting on the bonnet at the end saying Tara until next time :)

It's always on the Sunday... However there is camping on the Saturday for trade and split screen vans... It's quite a nice show, actually only 10 miles down the road from me. It's more vans and beetles really but the corrado club do have a stand... Show and shine good and miss stoner park.... Even worth a nosey round Henley afterwards... Beer down by the river... I should be their but not in the rado... Doubt I will get time to use it this year... Spend a lot of the summer in Mallorca... Until it gets too hot for me...

He strips VW for a living... All his stuff is expensive.... Only a few miles from me.... He must sell stuff as he would never make any cash... Anyway they are the old style mats with foam backs... If anything like my old ones the foam crumbles and makes a right mess in the car.

Wow... At that price I'd be buying a new set of solitudes from classic car part... They were still selling them for about 70 quid each a while back. I came across a company in Hemel called max powder a while a go no idea of quality but seemed cheap... But cheap is not always best.

some of you may of picked up on the fact that I was going to make a few sets of bonnet foam Before I start I have NO intention in treading on the feet of the chap from Germany.. I have No intention of selling them or making money, this was purely for my enjoyment at the moment. but anything is possible in the future I have a friend that runs a foam manufacturing business.... so was able to get the under side of the bonnet digitised and a tool made. the picture below is scrap aerospace foam at present. but the OEM stuff can be obtained. note 2 pieces are back to front at the moment sticky on the wrong side. but will be rectified. Was wondering whether I should post this but I see no harm.... Please no PM's requesting a set, the answer will be NO.
