Why do you have a early heater setup?
-
mine is a later heater
-
Whats the deal with the heater controls? are they a pain in the bum?
-
Try a diesel injector socket/oxygen sensor socket, I got one of these, from laser hand tools http://www.motorshack.com/acatalog/Special_Sockets.html halfords do them I think

Autospray Holden Rd, Cardiff, South Glamorgan CF11 8TJ Tel: 029 2066 6070 worth a call I suppose
-
Cardiff, I'll have to look up the name, I've forgotten
-
Try cleaning out the ISV, could also be a fuelling issue. Filter could be backed in, or the pumps because it could cause similar symptoms.
-
I can
-
still, your KR could be exactly the same, I'd check
-
This first one is a Kjet from a 9A same as mine the pump itself is nearly twice the size of the one below(can't really see from pics) also the is part 15 which is an accumulator I think. I believe this is a set up you might have which is a lot different. I'd wait for someone else to confirm or give you correct info. Best is to take a look at both pumps. 9A will be much bigger These pics are of the two different assemblies I've come across, There is also a chance the KR is the same. I thought I could help someone out, Instead of the other way round. Looks like I can't really. LOL
-
no. I tried to replace it and the pumps are different sizes. I was given a pump for under the car off a kr and all the fittings are different. 9A uses a bandjo bolt and the KR uses a different method. I could be wrong but I'm 99% sure. As I've faced this problem myself. You can see in the VAGCAT.

seems like your all paying too much, I had my whole front end done for £200 and blended really well. But with mine I had the slam panel painted whilst fitted all the rest were removed to spray.
-
would it be cheaper if I supplied the LED's and resistors?
-
hello Sorry to bring up something fairly old. My 9a mfa has the time on 48.11 and the other which is some sort of milage around 1200 how do I reset these figures? I couldn't find the mfa reset info earlier in the thread. cheers kempy Edit: I've just found out how. I always thought they were rear wiper settings...LOL what an idiot :cuckoo:

My recent drop is on adjustable Koni shocks and 60mm springs. I fitted them myself never done it before not sure if I've done a good job. The rears are not as low don't know why? I didn't use compressors on them is this right? fronts look great I think, the shocks and springs are second hand and there is a little knocking going on, will this go away? anyway this is how it looks :D :D

I had it about 2 months now actually. I bought it and it had 17" wheels which were aright but I thought I may put my Estorils on it at some point. So I got them polished and fitted, also I lowered it yesterday. I got some before and after pics. Hope you like, I do :D In Between ::::::::::::::::;; As it is today:::::::::::::::::::::

I found it easier to get to my rear struts by taking out my rear seatbelts now I cant refit them as they seem to have locked up. Is there something I can do to help? cheers
