Righty oh... earlier I torqued up the head, and then tried to fit the cams etc. I found that when I matched up the timing marks on the chain sprockets it made the toothed pully timing marks way off 12 o'clock is this right? Do I make the pully at 12 oclock when fitting up the belts later? cheers all

just fitted some 16's with nice 45 width tyres, from 15's on 40. Now I can drive up my drive without scraping the splitter but when I look at the car front-on I think "theres to much space under my 40mm splitter and I wanna fit my 90mm :lol: AM I CRAZY

my daily...if you dont know it..on its ar33e this weekend i've bought 2 sets of wheels so I dont have to keep the estorils polished in the winter, rota cup and some tsw :grin: gonna paint the tsw this weekend hopefully but 2 of the tsw need centres cap :wave: rolling dirty

Caerleon he is, went upto him (well, one of his employees Jon Trewey) and seemed ok. My mate Tim (one with the black Polo) has a had a bit of work up there incl smoothed bumpers etc and they seem to know their stuff and friendly at the same time. Think Im gonna take it there coz I think he'd put a bit of love into the work rather than 'just another job' Im gonna need a body guy when my silver car is running. hopefully he's good. If its the same Tim that I might know, he's into polishes and detailing right? :lol:

I think if you ran a bike or and import plate, it'll be illegal but you'd be less likely to be pulled over for it than if you ran german pressed ones.. like alot of astra gsi's got sorry for the astra content

it might turn out theres nothing wrong my old 9a head, just need it tested. the kr one is going on as I know thats fine 100%. After discovering things whilst taking the head off, like really twisted fuel lines and broken belt pulleys. 1st diagnostic of cracked head might be OTT
