Thanks fella, Looks like I'll be doing the oil pump soon! Anyone know the going rate for one? Euro CarParts are £75+ G&S is £55 Also, is it worth getting a high pressure oil pump?

if the rev's are climing faster I couldn't see how it could lose power? I would have thought the car would just go faster :twisted:

Is it a big no no to have a G60 reach full boost at a lower rpm?? - full boost for longer = faster car :) Currently I'm pulling about 12 psi to approx 5000rpm & then it up's to about 15/16psi after 5000rpm. I'm in the process of having my throttle body port polished, so now would be the idea time to make any adjustments. Any advise appreciated Dan

I'll send her up tomorrow morning bal :D I don't think my wheels are made anymore mate. I can't remember how much they were. They were on the car when I bought it. They are AEZ Paron's, 17" & 7.5 wide. I couldn't tell you the off set of the top of my head. Sorry I can't be much help.

If you put a hole in it, and then a few years down the line it goes again, would it not be harder to spot whether it was gone or not - resulting in the car not running right, but not having the symptoms of a knackered thermostat??

I've seen that kind of thing on an Escort RS Turbo before. A very good position Imo. Here's mine if it's any inspiration to anyone.

This is what you need - 2x Lupo GTI driver side wiper arm and blade kits (part no. V6X2 998 406) £17.36+VAT from VW I had problems with them finding this part number, but they got there in the end.

VW have just called to say my pipe is in. They have confirmed it has 3 outlets. Sounds spot on!! :afro:

Thanks lads. I went back down to VW at lunch & spoke to another guy. He assures me this is the correct pipe & the diagram just isn't very accurate. It is the same diagram as the above they had. Should be picking my new pipe up tomorrow, so all will be revealed then! The description does sound correct. "water hose (oil cooler . water pipe . water pump)"

you looking at even less than that. I reckon you'll have chage of £15 if your collecting them yourself from GSF. I replaced mine last week
