Billinjah- thats exactly what i thought!! don't think it would suit my c tho! How much did they go for on ebay? if you remember Think the rarity is a myth cause i have seen a few set around too!
-
Thats all i can ever find when i search it too!!
-
Might be a really stupid suggestion but it's not condensation is it?
-
Good work, Kind thought it would be chipped! What chip is it?

Dunno if i'm in the right section but here goes. Picked up these wheels a couple of years ago and have been sitting in my garage since i sold my polo, I was told they were rare when i bought them and have been told it a few times since. just got a few questions if anyone here knows anything about them? 1- Are they rare? 2-If i was to sell them should i get them refurbed? (think this is the most damaged wheel) 3-Should i hang on to them? Dunno if this sounds stupid but you know what space is like in the garage!! They are 16x6j et37(tyres are knackered) Thanks in advance

Lots of smoothing can look quite subtle, de-locking doors and tailgate! And like above nice and low with a nice set of wheels! :thumbleft:

The list could be endless!! You lookin for inspiration on styling or performance?!
-
You sure it isn't already chipped? with a 68mm pulley i would have thought it would be, they go hand in hand. But defo agreed sns is they way to go, gunna upgrade to that myself soon :)

Does the fan not kick in when you stop or anything? As above my temp gauge sits bang in the middle which is about 90!
-
Was well pleased with the result of both the microfibre cloths from volksdevil (polishing and drying i think) the drying cloth was dead easy to use and is leagues better than a leather shammy! Thank again neil

Really easy job 5 mins max!

was 20.10 but managed to wangle a discount and got it for 18.08! Part no is- 191919149d

Right just to finish this off for future reference, replaced the distance/speedo sensor and problem has gone! Cheers kerinmay good call mate :thumbleft: Part no. was the same as above and i believe it's the same sensor for all models of corrado?! but don't quote me on that!!
-
Just did this job five minutes ago, real easy, just undo the old sensor with an adjustable spanner the screw off. When you put the new one on just turn till finger tight and nip with the spanner, cause it's only plastic! VW have the sensors in stock again had to wait a week for mine! That is if its the speedo/distance sensor?!

Think my spoiler was up on the motorway no matter what the speedo was doing! To update, think the part is for all models(according to the dealers) and is currently on back order so have ordered one but don't know when i'll get it!! Appreciate all the help guys, will let everyone know what the outcome is!
-
just a quick thought, what exactly causes the spoiler to raise/lower?! because the spoiler stays the same no matter what the speedo needle reads when fluxtuating but still raises and lowers properly!! Is the spoiler speed sensor connected to the speedo gauge or gearbox sensor?! surely if it is then it too would fluxtuate with the speedo?
-
right, problem stopped for a few days but coming back from edinburgh this afternoon it got worse!! Speedo started going wild, racing right up to 160 then dropping back to 70, then dropping to 0 and staying there for a while then slowly creeping back to 70! Will try vw 2moro morning with that part no.(cheers kerrinmay) and see how i get on! :confused4: will post up if i have any luck!!

Retract my previous statement, wrong car, the back bumper and the petrol cap totally threw me but after scrambling through old pvw's i realised my error!!

Is this not the PVW feature car that used to be purple? Lovely colour, liked the colour it was loads too!! 8)

Cheers guys,G60SC_Stoney- yeah usually occurs after about 60 but did it just going through town at 30 yesterday! Is it the actual sensor that i need to replace or is it the connecting rod part that goes into the gear box? Sounds stupid but just from looking at the screen at the parts department there is a few different bits at the gearbox!
-
alright need some advice, my speedo has become abit erratic of late and after reding numerous search posts i think i need to replace a sensor on the gear box!? The guy at vw parts reckons it's the distance sensor. Can anyone shed any light on whether this is the right sensor to replace or not?? Cheers andy

Yeah fitted it up mate it's easy!! just slots on no need to worry about the smaller spline underneath! get some piccys up when your done?! 8)
-
Have just done this myself and the 8014 momo hub is the right one for the late models, so i wouldn't worry you've ordered the right one!! :)

If all the history and mileage is accurate you got a bargain on your hands!!
