Cracked one of my boost pipes recently and everytime i accelerated i could hear the rush of air from the pass. foot well. So i purchased some BBM boost pipes from g-werks, now i definately don't have a leak from the pipes which i know of,and i still get the noise, but could it possibly be, 1-the noise of the boost flowing through the intercooler 2- air flowing through the intercooler and out of the pass. side arch (arch has been drilled to allow flow through) 3- Leaky intercooler?! Car still feels really responsive just worried about this noise when on full throttle if it's a leak or just one of those corrado noises?! Sorry if this makes no sense!! any help appreciated

It's the same one as above mate sits just below the oil filter!

As far as i was aware they are both the same bhp but the 2.0l has more torque. But sure one of the valver guys will be over shortly to shed more light. Have heard that putting the kR inlet came from the 1.8 into the 2.0l makes a very healthy improvement. not sure on bhp figures tho!

Think with the g-werks deal both kits will work out the same price including top mounts front and back. Was leaning towards the fk's for the s/s have you had a chance to fit your silverline x's?

-Neil-, Also spoke to rob from g-werks about this kit and new top mounts all round, have you had a chance to fit them yet? would be really interested to know how they are? Also had in mind FK highsport silverlines can anyone shed anylight on which kit might be better considering i'm in scotland and the salt on the roads etc?

Been using this for years!! great on the windscreen, my c is dewipered at the rear and it makes a difference but not a huge amount!!

Don't suppose your speedo needle is being erratic too? had the same problem when my speed distance sensor on the top of the gear box stopped working.

the wires are also for the full closure to roll up the windows when the key is turned and held. but the alarm should do that when the handles are de-locked, thats how mine is. Didn't experience the problems with the handles tho so can't shed any light on them!!

surely if your G is slightly modified to put out 190bhp then fuel consumption will be on par with a vr6 anyways?! I know mine compares fuel wise with my mates vr6 in average/hard driving.

Can you not just swap 1st, 2nd and 5th from the vr box to the g60 box? Also just noticed there is a guy on ebay doing a kit for the g60 to convert 1st and 2nd for longer gears for £125. might be worth a look.

Had mine just under a year now and it has been perfectly reliable!! you just need to drive one and you will be hooked!!

I get Roughly 280-300 out of a full tank on my G (15 gallon), thats with commuting everyday (only 10 miles each way) and pottering around!! Dub_nut_g60, you must be doing something right mate i can only dream of 500 miles to a tank!!

Back from the dead again!! Parked up in front of another car this morning blocking them in cause they were in my space and just had the woman in asking if i owned the blue VAUXHALL corrado!! Was quite insulted!! :lol:

Sounds like it's the Rallye style u-bend to run a FMIC, unfortunately i ain't ordered one!! Hope you find it's owner i don't think they are cheap!!

I picked mine up off a guy from here breaking his rado, cost me £45 for the whole roof ie. panel, mech, frame and motor. but i personal thought that was quite a good deal.

Take it the calipers arrive alright? i looked at EBC redstuff for them but they only listed one set of pads!
