I polished the dishes on my rm's, Got a kit from thepolishingshop.co.uk and just worked my way through the different mops till i got a finish i was happy with!! Good torquey drill is useful but not too fast as the waxes just start to stick and go black. Lots of time!! it takes a while to do properly

Sounds like an unlucky week man!! fitted my coilovers recently and after about 5 mins of driving my exhaust decided to break!! Least i got to replace it with a new shiney one though! 8) -

_leon_'s Corrado - R32/Gemini box now in progress

Fitted the cooler and took out the standard heat exchanger/cooler. takes a wee while to get up to temp but keeps it about 10-15 degrees cooler when running.Only thing with that is you have to bypass the original cooler with water pipes from a mk1. -

What cooler did you go for? You should notice a big drop in oil temp. are you keeping the standard oil cooler or ditching it? -

^^ Yeah was thinking bout that mine said 16" wheels with 15" tyres!!

Had my KW V1's on for a few thousand miles now and the ride quality is great. Reasonably firm but not harsh in the slightest. Would definately recommend them for someone looking for a good value stainless kit.

Agree with steve here, if theres no cambelt history get it done. Got a '97 colour concept, look out for rust above the rear wiper motor and just above the windscreen also the sills as mentioned. Great wee cars just not that quick!!

Anyone fancy helping a fellow corrado owner out??
just_say_meth replied to herisites's topic in Drivetrain
I would have said the wd40 plan is good, had no problems getting my wishbone bolts out and i never used any but have seen it go on other cars!! Just be careful when you are doing it and if it feels its gunna twist/shear then leave it and get it done by a garage!! After all if you don't try something your never gunna know if you can do it or not! But yeah i can imagine garage prices down your way  -

JIM has some good points, sometimes these jobs can go horribly wrong!! if you get a couple of days that you don't need the car you could strip down the carrier and get the bearings pressed in by a garage, should save on labour costs then just build them back up yourself?! But getting it all done at once might be a better plan?! Like i said i did all thats on your list and a bit more over the past wee while and didn't encounter too many problems. worst job was definately the wheel bearings tho!! -

Sorry mate can't help either but just thought i'd mention, you need a press to put the front wheel bearings in, did mine about a month ago at a mates garage was hard going!! may be possible without one but it certainly helps alot!! -

After trolling this thread i decided to go for a full system magnex for my G60. Have to say the service from motorsportworld.co.uk was second to none and the exhaust arrived the next day! The quality and fit of the system was excellent and the garage commented that it was the best fit on a rado they had seen. It's only been on a couple of days now but its reasonably quite which i was really pleased with as i wasn't looking for anything too loud. De-cat next!! Magnex highly recommended -
Was told by a local garage pre 1993 cars didn't have to have a cat so you could get away without it?!

Don't fiddle with your BBS centre caps with out checking they are secure!! Otherwise in the morning you will find one missing!! :bad-words:

Got a friend running the LCR 4 pot brembos with 16" compomotive MO's on a golf and the calipers are tight as!! Probably about 2mm clearance at each of the mounting bolts. So 16's are possible
