    does anyone know the differance between a 91 and a 92 wing need a 91 but cant find any so need to know if i need 2 later wings cheers

  7. just a thought but you remove breather and then bts and then rev 3 times over 3000 and allow to idle, set idle speed and then switch off, reconnect bts and breather and restart. but you never mentioned turning off before reconnecting as for hall sensor dont bother yes you can change it but its a pain as bits are a interferance fit and hence very tight so would recommend a new dizzy every time
  8. The problem with the motor codes scheme is that it costs the garage and if you belong to another scheme you cant join. PAS pumps are easy to get so he defiantly didnt need to fit a renault pump, and if the pressure and flow rates are wrong it will take out your rack as well Pricing parts is different as euro car parts sell stuff on their website at trade prices so the garage is always going to go with the rrp quoted so as to make a bit of money on the parts as they did the ordering and the warranty is against them if the bits fail. They can claim the parts back but not always the labour and if they try invariably they lose and get no new part or labour. Also did they get the bits from ecp as not all garages can get deliveries from all suppliers so they might be supplied by a more expensive supplier. That said this is a disgusting display of why garages get a bad name
  9. how can you tell differance between dealer and factory fit on early rado's mines a late 91 as far as i know factory but the switch has 5 pins on each switch and piggy back wires between the switches if thats factory how do i wire them to new switches
  10. reprogramming a new remote is easy, it should be in your manual but if you need to reprogram it you input your code then hold the sprung side of your switch till the alarm beeps 1 time after about 3 seconds, now you are in program mode so if your code is 2then you do the following 1: press sprung side twice and then latch once 2: immediatly press and hold sprung side for about 3 seconds until you hear a beep 3:now press latch side twice and wait for 2 beeps 4:press rocker side once(alarm will beep as you press switch) 5:now press alarm lock button and alarm should beep 2 chirps for confirmation if 1 chirp press lock button again 6;switch off ignition alarm will beep 5 times to confirm exiting from program mode test remote if this doesnt work if could be the remote but would need it to test it try it if not pm me for my number and will try and talk you through it stu

  13. will be bonnet switch if its connected to the right wire boot is usually wired into the boot light so could be that as well if no diode fitted if this is a common fault and happens very frequently then disconnect switch and leave for a week and see if that stops it voltages about right so no worries there any probs give us a call 07841285842 stuart
  14. yeah me too it idles then its almost like the revs drop and as it try's to compenstate it goes mega high but its not sticking, if i tap it it moves up and down a little, disconnect or switch off and its fine poxy thing

Hi long time no posts but been away and not had my c but back now anyway the c has a problem. if i start the car it revs brifly to 1700 rpm and drops to about 1200 for a few mins and the settles down to about 900 rpm then whilst idling it will suddenly go to about 3000 rpm and stay there for about 20-30 secs and drop back down, or stay there until i turn the ignition off anyone got any idea's please thanks

  19. yeah defo needs the exciter wire as it will not charge with out it dont have a wiring dia to check but remember it being blue

  21. i get about 23 on the motorway at 70 about 18 on normal roads about 10 when having fun :lol:
