I spent part of the weekend swapping a few parts over and putting the engine back in...heres some pics Fitted:- Eibach ARB's ARB links Vibratechnics Mounts Recon rack Track rod ends New wishbones including R32 rear bushes Ball joints New steering UJ boot New flywheel Release bearing + sleeve + arm Helix clutch Gearbox with 3.68FD and quaife diff -
Their just shaped differently, they work exactly the same way

Definately turbo, driving Dave's made my mind up :) Rotrex are good but I think turbo's a better way to go -

:oops: Thanks for the kind words...the finish is only as good as the prep work, with all the grinding, welding, fillering etc Id hate to think how many hours have gone into it...I lost count at 150 :cuckoo: Thanks, Im trying to make it as new as it can be really, Ive got no intention of ever selling it so I thought Id go the whole nine yards :D -

Ive had a look at work, Unfortunately I havent got anything that big...are you just having trouble getting the DTA to accept the TB thats on there? or is it something else?

I had a car before with a lightened flywheel and I hated it, Ive been put off for life...Im sure there are good ones but its not for me -

Had a delivery from VW today :D ...lots of new bits including... Flywheel Release bearing arm Release bearing sleeve Oil cooler Crack pipe Various hoses and seals Thermostat housing and attaching parts Water Pump Various bolts Etc -
Whats the prob with the TB mate, Ive got loads of them for various cars knocking round if there any use to you?

Just won some S3 calipers and carriers on the bay, 312mm on the front and some nice vented calipers for the little project in the pipe line for the rear brakes 8) -
I get alot of 1.8t's in at work with blocked oil pump strainers, mainly on higher mileage cars they get alot of oil sludge which dries and blocks the strainer. have a look through the service history and see if its had a few flush treatments in its time and have a look through the oil filler neck for lots of dried oil. But dont let it put you off if it seems a good car you can always stick a flush through it yourself :) and they are good cars with not many problems Hope this helps

Cheers Guys, Hi mate hows things? I was thinking of having a different colour under the bonnet, like nimbus grey, gloss black etc but decided to spray it the same as the body colour (Rover nightfire red) the mods will make it stand out enough anyway 8) -
I was looking at some Gotti splits a while ago, They would look great 8) Did the diagrams get everything sorted?
