The trouble with me is I look at stuff and think...while Im in there I might as well do that bit...and that bit...and that bit so I just thought sod it do the whole car :lol: -

Thanks for the nice comments chaps :) The POR sprayed really well I just thinned it out with some solvent, its stuck like s**t to a mohair blanket :lol: The body prep's not that bad it just takes a lot of time and Ive been doing it on my lunch breaks....so its taking forever :brickwall: No problem at all mate give me a shout if you need anything else -

Ordered my Eibach ARB's and Vibratechnic mounts today, should have the engine bay painted and motor back in shortly :) -

2 weeks would be a bit tight an extra couple of days will cover it :lol: Itll take however long it takes to make sure everythings right...theres no point cutting corners now :) -

Update time.....Ive had a bit of a night mare with the car recently, I went to collect the car from the painters and noticed some of the paint was reacting on closer inspection the car hadnt been prepared properly and the paint was flaking off :bad-words: they offered to do the work again but Id lost faith with them, so I took the car away and decided to do the work myself, heres a few pics of progress so far. -
Its the Gnat's nadgers to me...This car inspired me to mod mine and If I can get close to the standard of workmanship Ill be a happy man :) My 2p

MK2 all the way...Get a 16v, strip it out, poly bush everything (Those Prothane ones in my Golf are great and cheap :D ) nice grippy tyres, better shocks ,springs and finally some fat ARB's. Job Done for under £1500

Is that a CV joint/hub bolt with some nuts and a rose joint? that certainly is one way of doing it :) -

Stormcharged had his VR6 turbo conversion done by these guys and from what Ive heard and seen its all quality work. 8)

So its an r32 for this project then I was driving an r32 at work today and it felt pretty quick so that engine in a nice light Corrado should be fapping quick...but if you boost it aswell :norty: -

That wire is for an oil pressure gauge that isnt fitted to UK spec cars, hence why nobody has it plugged in...I found this out after much head scratching when doing my OBD2 loom :D
