The legislation for the new emmisions test didn't come in till Jan 1st '93 but it is stated that you have to have a cat fitted from Aug 1st '92 which makes alot of sense :? makes no difference to me though coz i ve got a '91 and have already decatted it :D didn't really notice any difference either way apart from the new louder exhaust note but I had a complete powerflow system done at the same time and I said I wanted it loud :D

Is there a pause from when you put your foot down on the accelerator to the time it jolts and is the problem worse when the engine is cold???

I've had a set of Venom motorsports sideskirts sitting around for ages not doing anything coz of the paint finish on them but last week I had them re painted, and have gone to fit them today but they are causing me grief they seem to be about an inch too long, anyone else had this problem!! I really need to get them on for inters! Any fitting suggestions are more than welcome!! :D

Majik I bet you are furious if someone did that to my car I would go bl**dy mental. Armour door plates are available but they wont stop people from tryin it on!! in the end they'll just do even more damage trying to get in. Get a decent alarm something like a clifford with dual proximity as this will give a bleep everytime someone breaks the the proximity line you set, this will deter most have a go thieves. At the end of the day if a thief wants it bad enough they'll have it there is nothing you can do about it!! How about wiring your car upto 240v that would give them a nice suprise if they tried it again :D :D SHOCKING!!!

Extreme in harlow do a full laser alignment as well I took my car up there and had my 17's put on and whilst they were at it I got them to do the alignment as well I was pretty shocked at how much it was out and it drove 50 times better afterwards both the front wheels were pointing in different directions :?

The number for the camsite is 01394 460 655 tsembi they have still got loads of pitches apparently but you have to fill out a booking form and send it off as they haven't got a credit card facility there if you need a booking form I'll send ya one by email should you need it!! let me know Dazzy just send off another booking form they told me yesterday that they have loads of pitches left so it's still not too late. Have you checked the flange that sits on the head that gets it's feed from the top hose out of the rad this one is quite common and usually shows signs of leaking when you rev it and the pressure in the system raises!!

The camp site opens on the friday between 12miday to 10pm anytime between those times is ok. I haven't recieved anything back from them either yet. They're sposed to be sending all the info and confirmation pack but no sign of it yet!!!! Need a trailor for all the beer!! :D Oh well just as well they have a bar on site!! :D Werhay!!!

I was 20 when I first insured my G60 but I was going to be 21 in a months time s HIC let me off and insured me anyway for £1200tpft which aint too bad considering all the other quotes I had been given or not as the case was!!! Give them a call they seem to be really good on young driver and modifications thats who I am stilll with as they have always matched my other quotes :D

Yeah sounds like a sticky ISV ( Idle stabilisation valve) Its the vdo unit that sits at the back of the rocker cover you cant miss it it's got a plug with 2 wires going into the left hand side and a hose that links onto the the inlet manifold and a black pipe that comes out of the right hand side that goes into the boost return pipe. To clean it disconnect it undo the jubilee clip at the inlet side and pull the hose off that goes to the boostreturn pipe, get some degreaser something like carb, cleaner gunk or similar spray loads in cover up both hole and give it a good shake empty it out and repeat until no more black shite comes out of it that should clear it and hopefully solve your problem!!! :D

I plugged the side of the throttle body with a piece of 3/4" heater hose and bonded in a blanking grommet which seems to work fine! No whistling but then again the engine note is so loud I probably wouldn't hear it anyway :D Rob the diesel spill off plugs only come in one size which is 3/16ths perfect for plugging the back pipe out of the throttle body the side of the throttle body is too large to plug with anything else I found other than heater hose and a blanking grommet you do need to plug it though as it will be sucking all sorts of crud in otherwise

Thats a puzzling one as the front usually sits lower than the back due to the weight of the engine! how long ago did you fit the springs as they normally take a couple of hundred miles to settle but it sounds a bit strange that the wheel is nearly in the arch coz I ve lowered mine 80mm all round sitting on 17's and it's still not quite in the arch probably about a fingers worth gap between tyre and arch!!
