You dont need to loose the duct just bond a tube onto it and route it to the airbox or induction kit :D -

On the corrado you dont need to remove the foglight just route a bit of ducting off the brake cooling duct!!! -
Also if you want a cheaper alternative try the breakers 0115 9791121!!! I might be able to get a new driveshaft from work I'll have a look in our book see what it lists if we can get them at a better price than £170+vat I'll let you know!!!

I know darren :D but it's a daily driver and it's alwys getting dirty have no daylight hours to actually get round to giving it a proper clean and polish!!! :( maybe this weekend ay -
I think you have to have a manual release somewhere on the car so you can get in from the outside my mates have done this in tha past by putting a push button on the bottoms of the mirrors TVR stylee, they only work when the alarm is deactivated. If you do decide to go ahead with it G60 make sure you have a spare alarm keyfob to hand if you should ever need it!!!

Sorry couldn't make it today cash is really tight as the insurance company took more than they were supposed too :( I also have to get a new rear engine bearer it's just about had it now!! I'll try to be at the next one and maybe me and darren will finally have this grudge match tango MK1 against Banana corrado :D You up for it then Darren???????

It's quite easy to do Brookescourt First things first you need to take the fuel tank breather hose off the the cc which is the smaller of the 2 hoses that goes into the CC and locate it into either the small hole in the inner wing. Then you need to take the breather pot out the one that sits on the suspenssion turret and disconnect the big hose that goes to the CC, then you need to disconnect the small hose that goes to the inlet manifold with the other hose that also goes in at that point needs to be connected back up to the inlet with a inline 6mm adaptor or a t pice that you could run a boost gauge off of it. then the small hose that goes to the back of the inlet needs to be capped off with a small plug I used a diesle spill off plug! And the larger hose that goes into the side of the inlet also needs to be plugged off as well I used a small lenght of the same size hose and stuck a bit of subber the same size as the internal diameter and glued it in place!! Thats about it you can take the breather out of the car now and you should have everything in place so you can also remove the CC and run some more cold air into the induction kit or standard airbox from the brake cooling duct!! Hope this all makes sense if not give me a buzz on 07740482464 and I'll run through it again!! :D here's some pics!!! -
Thanks Iceman!!!!!! It does actually look alot better in the car when its all installed properly!!! Did I say I was a pro no!! It is a home made job that would probably look ten times better if I were getting paid to make it!!!

Iceman all amp wiring kits should have either a blade fuse or big gold plated cylinder fuse no more than 18" away from the battery if you're wiring up an amp you should disconnect this before hand so you dont blow anything up this makes more sense to me than connecting an amp up with the power supply being live!!! I ve done this before make lovely yellow sparks though when you do accidentally touch the ground and live together1!! :D

on a 16v with jetronic fuelling you can still put the 10k boost in just before the inlet if you undo the jubilee clip and only pull it off just enough so you have a gap open at the top just enough to spray the cans in you need to increase the idle to 2500rpm if I rememver correctly and spray 2 full cans in for the first treatment!!! The other method of getting carbon off ya pistons is to get a spray bottle filled with water (YES WATER) and while revving it spray it into the inlet but not too much at a time as this will make the engine splutter and die no one can explain how this actualy works but if you have ever had a headgasket let go and water has got into the combustion chamber the pistons are usually in mint condition for some reason!!!!!

The mad and ugly corrado isn't the one with mk4 golf headlamps is it if it is the one I'm thinking of the bloke should be shot for creating such a monstosity!!!! :2gunfire:

not if you dynamat the wheelarch fogot to mention that and if you use good quality fibre glass and plenty of layers when is butted up against the wheelarch you wont get any flex how do you think they make these sub enclosures nigel ( with fibre glass!!) you would only be able to fit a 8 or ten inch sub in the enclosure and probably have a port in it anyway so the pressure would be released unlike a sealled box!!
-
I know the one its called 10k Boost and it does work as I ve tried it the amount of black carbon it got rid of was amazing big plumes of the stuff it felt a bit more responsive after I had done the treatment as well!!!!
-
[qoute]Might give this hot shots a go though... where do you get it from ?[/qoute] I get it from work but places like halfords, shell, les smiths to name a few also sell it
-
I made my own side panels to hold the amps and neons they're really easy to make and to adapt them to hold a sub aint to difficult either all you need to do is remove the carpet and cover the wheelarch in foil and fibre glass matt over the top then wait for it to dry pull it out remove the foil and bond what you've made onto a pre cut mdf sheet with some more fibre glass wait for it to dry and carpet it and VOILA custom made sub enclosure :D

I'll be there!!! :D :D I still want to go on TT week and pitch the marque in your back garden :D
-
I just put it in before I fill up and stick a fulll tank of optimax or super plus in!!! I think there is a printing error on the back of the hot shots as it says it treats 15 litres :? all the others treat upto 60litres

Give Darren @ PD Motorsport a bell on 07899940473 he'll sort you out with a good price I'm sure!!!

Will 205/50 R15 tyres fit on my Sebring alloys?!
Banana Man replied to Dave_Corrado16v's topic in General Car Chat
as long as the wheels are no smaller than 6.5j wide 205s will fit on as a direct fit!! -
I use them all the time I have 3 good ones I use the first being Nitrox hot shots I use this one quite alot especially when doing days up the stripat santa pod :D I have got a mate who tested it on his nissan 300zx on the rollers one with it in and one without and the results were pretty good he used super plus and a bottle of hot shots and it showed an inprovement of 9bhp which aint bad for £6 in opinion the other 2 I use is comma injector magic which I think is a good product and use it all the time (at least twice a month) and the other is wynns octane booster which apperantly take the rating of of fuel by 10 points I cant comment if it actually improves performance as I dont have proof but when I use it I notice an inprovement in acceleration but that could just be in me head!!! Try the hot shots and see I think it is good s*it!!!

The fan that you have bought darren is smaller in the width than the standard one isn't it!!! the standard fan is about 2-2.5" wide when electric fan you've bought is only about 2cm wide thats what I'm talking about not the overall diameter of it!! Hows it going anyway darren nearly sorted all the bits on ya motor yet??
