Yeah your car looks sweet at that ride height but also think it could do with some 17's or big fat wide 16's just to finish it off!! :D

To plug up the back of the throttle bodie I used diesel spill off plugs they're just the ticket you can get them from motor factors or the other name for them is vacuum advance retard plugs. -
It sounds to me like it is the front powersteering pulley on the crankshaft behind it is the thicker charger and alternator pulley right?? could just be that it isn't sitting quite flush or that it is buckled try replacing it with a new one they wont be all that dear I shouldn't imagine

Whats on your mod/wish list for your Corrado?
Banana Man replied to G60Jet's topic in General Car Chat
On my wish list is 500BHP :D only possible way of getting anywhere close is to fit another highly tuned g60 lump in the rear :D hmmmm somehow dont think that will be happening this year on my wages!! :( Oh well just have to keep dreaming!!! -
leew part number for the caps are 535-867-842a you'll need 2 of them and if you want the screws as well the number for them is N013-966-26 I ve just sold my VDO gauge panels on ebay for £30/50 and £31 not bad considering they only cost £7.50 a piece!! :D

Same as my mate tried flogging his uh hmm ASTRA ( pile of crap ) through them and didn't have any response from them they just took his money and ran!!! Tell em to f*ck off the exchange and mart will advertise your car for you for £70 until sold and it will appear in every issue until you tell em it's sold it's expensive but at least you can see proof of where your money's going as they are very reputable and you can see it in black and white for yourself.

Another place to try would be http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk they do a few styling bits for thecorrado :D

Oh I know what your talking about now yeah that comes out of the car too you just block the pipe that comes out of the back of the TB and block of the pipe that goes into the front of the inlet manifold but dont block off the pipe or try to remove the other pipe that goes into the front of the inlet manifold as this is the vacuum for the mfa!! -
That whistling noise is normal for a g60 not really sure what causes it but it is normal for the g60 to whistle has the charger been modded ie stg 4 or smaller pulley as the whistling is more noticable when you have these mods!! As for the running temperatures 110-116 is pretty normal!!!

What do you mean the shut off valve juelsz I dont recall any shut off valve in the breather system and what does it shut of as all the carbon canister is there for is to catch the fuel vapours and put them back into the breather system to lower emmisions!!! -
They're only £11 from the stealers why bother just get a new one!!! :D Unfortunately I'm working for the next 2 weekends so AMD is pretty much out of the question!! :(

Piece of piss Andy take off black cap that cover the 2 bolts that hold the tank to the body undo them, disconnect the top hose that connects to the top rad hose and disconnect the bottom water hose pull the tank upwards to remove, slide in new tank, reconnect the hoses, do up the bolts refit the black cover and refil the tank!!! Job done should only take about 5 mins!!!

I'm thinking about making an alloy cover that covers the whole lot which will not only look trick but serve a pupose as well, the thing with the plastic covers is that they go very brittle and crack over time and start to leak!! I ve seen a few alloy ones on golfs and they look pretty good I cant see it being that difficult cutting a sheet of ally to size and to make up some brackets to hold it in place!!!
-
If you could sort me out a tent for the weekend that would be great I dont really want to buy one as it wont get used and end up like the last one!!! are they nice army como'd ones, 2 sticks and a sheet of green material :D
-
I think we've left it too late in the day to do a group booking Chris as its only 4-5 weeks away I'm still a bit stuck for a tent though as my one has decided to develop a nice big hole in it  I think it'll have to be a quick ebay buy to get meself a new one :D I ve got my place on the G60powered stand for both days so I'll have to sort out the camping this week to make sure theres still room for me!! :D

HFC insurance are really good they're not too bothered about mods either when I told them about all of mine (GULP) I was expecting a big hike in premium but they didn't hike it up at all in fact it ended up being cheaper than last year when it was on limited mileage and only a couple of the mods declaired. :D A big thubms up
-
Yeah I ve heard of just getting the inserts and changing them instead of buying the complete strut never heard of filling the gap with oil though as there shouldn't be a gap, if you've bought the right inserts they should just slot in with a nice tight fit!! and there is a nut that holds the insert onto the strut they are a bastard to get off on older suspenssion as they corrode!! It maybe a little cheaper than buying the complete strut but I think there wont be that much differnce in price to be honest and the extra aggrevation it causes isn't really worth it. I should know I bought inserts for my mk2 and ended up having to take them off and to a garage for the nut to be loosened with an airhammer as it was well and truely corroded on!!
