Does it have standard springs and shocks? Because if it has been lowered slightly then the previous owner obviously didnt cut the bump stops down at the back which would make the back sit a lot higher than the front. Otherwise it may just be due to where its parked and the handbrake being on etc as they are very high standard and defo need dropping :)

These are fantastic looking wheels, and they suit the red corrado SO well, go for it mate and get some pics up as soon as they are on!!!

Here is a pic of one of the members on here's wheel that is 9" wide and running 195/40 tyres

First of all welcome to the forum and the car looks very nice! Its not a big deal though mate, 195/50/15's are fine on the storm wheels, i am running 215/40/16 on 9 inch wide rims!! And there are even people running 195's on 9 inch rims, MEGA STRETCH!!!!

Im still not decided on them really, some days i like the tints somedays think whats the point. I think they certainly look better with just the headlight tints as apposed to all which was a bit too much imo. I might leave them on a bit longer and see how i feel really. Other than them though i LOVE my car to bits :D

Cheers guys :D

I gave my car a good detail yesterday, i washed it, Meguiars step 1 paint cleaner, washed it again, Scratch-Xed it and then polished it using AG Super Resin Polish and then finally applied Meguiars Step 3 Carnuaba wax (which smells fantastic :D) and the shine was amazing!! I was driving lastnight and i could see every lamp post and car i drove past in my bonnet, it was like a mirror!! The sun was out today so i thought i would take some pics, it looks super shiny in the pics and because the sun was so bright my headlight tints look purple  i took the fog/indicator tints off as i thought it was all too much and it looks better now imo. Anyway enjoy the pics 8)

This is exactly what i am thinking although i have cloth interior its still the late black cloth so the interior is very dark. I fitted my DDI dials before xmas and i got them with the bezel alluminium rings and i couldnt believe how much more modern they made the dash look! After being ina few modern VW's and Audi's i think justa few brushed aluminium/chromw touches will make the world of difference :D EDIT: Also changing the interior lights from green to red make it look more modern as well as all modern VW's and Audi's have red interior lights. I have done mine and they look superb with the dials 8)

I also heard that The Stig is that Ben Collins guy. He was one of the drivers they used for the Toyota Aygo football game

Its a J reg Kawasaki ZXR400. Its been off the road for over a year and just sat in the garage with the occassional start up. It needs a new fairing as well really as the one its got (although intact) is scuffed up due to me dropping it twice (never driver error though as i raced bikes ). Other than that its a good bike so im just tidying it up and servicing it etc getting it to run nice and then flogging it. Its got 2 brand new tyres on it as well that have never been ridden on

I think you should buy the Red Tops Ive got for sale for when yours is charged :D Gott get the charger first :( its not going to be any time soon im afraid, im currently sorting out my old motorbike which im going to sell and that should fund the majority of the charger, but its a not a very good time of year to sell bikes so it just depends if i sell it or not!
-
That sounds fantastic :D i cant wait to get mine charged now!! They are good figures, has it had anything else done or just the charger? Rob.

Quality pic ^^^^ :lol::lol:

And pointless because they are the same money as their european rivals but a much worse car so i dunno why anyone with a brain would buy one!! There should be a few Korean cars in here after watching the top gear where they tried to find a good korean car and couldnt

If you want to see how these size wheels look on a 4 stud corrado then check out g60greeny's gallery: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29983&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 He has Borbet's on his but are exactly the same size as mine, should give you an idea :)
-
If you got some wheels the same size and offset (9x16 et15) they will still stick out a fair bit on yours, just not AS far as on the VR6 due to the wider tracking. Im not sure whether there is a way of sticking them right out other than using spacers. Someone else may be able to help out.

Hyundai Accent (not mine before anyone says ) my mate used one while waiting for his new car to be built and i drove it and it was dreadful, Hamster was right when he said "It really is less fun than drowning!" it was dreadful, it was the 1.3 which was the slowest thing i have ever driven my mate once had to give 3 of his mates a lift so thats 4 in the car and it almost cut out in 2nd gear going up a gradual hill wasnt even steep . It rolled worse than a big rolly thing, the brakes were terrible and the quality of the interior was basically spit and tissue! Never again

I done my rear axle bushes on my old fiesta, ended up melting the rubber out with a blowtorch and hacksawing the metal outer part to get the bastards out  worked though
-
Welcome to the forum! Both cars look superb, more pics are always welcome :D
-
Its actually the offset of the wheels that make the wheels stick out. Mine is a good example of offset as my front wheels (et30) are 9x16's and are under the arch with 3mm spacers (make it et27) on to clear the calipers and my rears are exactly the same size wheels but have a much lower offset (et15) and stick out past the arches with NO spacers on at all. However if yours is a 4 stud that means its not a VR6 which means your tracking is not as wide so they wont stick out as far on yours.

Make sure you leave the car to stand for a whil before checking as it will just pi55 out petrol when you disconnect the fuel lines from the pump, you can always put some jubilee clips on them and tighten them right up to stop any fuel pi55in out. Then its just a case of un-twisting it and pulling it out :)
-
Not the same C though because you wont get very far

3corsameal, thats the best way mate, and having a nice garage helps, i got a double garage and just having room to move etc makes life a whole lot easier when working on my car :D
