  1. Whatever colour it is it looks damn nice
  2. These are fantastic bikes, gotta hand it to BMW they can make a good sports bike bike if they try lol although their other bikes are still superb, anyone watch Long Way Round . For a big bike the handling is superb, and acceleration is very smooth. Not like any bike i have ever ridden and i have ridden a lot of bikes! My mate has the K1200R which is the naked version, also a very nice bike! Rob.
  3. Thanks mate. Is that Venom Motorsport?
  4. Where is the best place to get FK AK's from? These are FK's budget suspension but they aren't that bad really. Karl (KADVR6) has them on his charged vr and i had a go in it and they seemed pretty good, bit crashy but handled very well! Rob.

    ET15 VS ET30 :?:

After going to the rolling road day and seeing Mr Beige's 16v its amazing how different the width of the track is between his and my vr. He has 9x16's et15 and they were inside the arch  mine was the only one there that stuck out a mile  Rob.

    ET15 VS ET30 :?:

Mine's a late vr as well mate so doesnt it have a wider track? Plus mine is higher with wider tyres so it may give the impression that they stick out a mile ... even tho they do
  8. Im not sure about everyone else, i got these wheels off Bendy so i just done what he done lol. When i was doing searches for people running 9's all round they seemed to have et15's all round but as i said it doesnt look right, the fronts stick out far too much and you would need to pretty much cut the whole arch off to stop scrubbing!! I had to 'shave' some of my caliper carrier off to fit these but that could just be the design of the spokes, other wheels might fit over the carriers fine with et30 :? Good luck with your search anyway mate  Rob.
  9. alright for some! Well surely upgraded hoses, discs and pads will be enough for just a shrek and cams??? If you were charging it then yeah BIG brakes!!
  10. What offsets are they dave? Very nice wheels indeed 8) shame you are thinking of selling them as they suit your C so much :(
  11. Its alright i'll let you off  Cheers mate, i will order both then. Rob.
  12. Ahh so it would be about £60 then and then pads on top of them. What pads did you use with the discs?
  13. Also i have heard a lot about Pagid pads. Where can i get these from and would they be good with the power grooves? Rob.
  14. Ok i am going to dig up my old thread. I am upgrading my brakes and now i have my wheels on i def cant go any bigger with the brakes so would the ATE Power Grooves with ATE pads be a good improvement over standard? Also on the Euro Car Parts site it doesnt say whether the price is for both discs or just one. Does anyone know whether the £30+ is for both discs or each? Im guessing both as you would tend to order them as a set  Rob.
  15. Oh also Neil that pic above for some reason it does look like the fronts stick out a mile  must be the angle or the steering ever so slightly turned. In the metal they sit in more than that, the stretch of the tyre just sticks out of the arches where as et15's the whole fcuking wheel sticks out  Rob.
  16. Hell yes they stick out mate  As i mentioned the et30's dont fit straight on without grinding some of the caliper carriers away (sounds bad but its basically just take a few mil off and giving it an angle) so when i first got the wheels i ran the et15's on the front and it didnt look right, they stuck out far too much and caught like a b!tch!! Its much better now with the et30's on the front and the arch lips rolled up it doesnt catch one bit and you still get the 'wedge' shape with the et15's on the back :D

    porsche rims

I would try the search mate as there are a few members running porsche rims. In fact there is a stickied thread 2 up from this one titled 'Porsche Rims' so might be worth looking/posting in there. Rob.
  18. Are the Weitecs a harsh ride or are they more comfortable?
  19. IMO 9" wide rims on a 35mm lowered rado wont look right, i have 9x16's and lowered 40mm (i think its lower at the front) and mine looks ok but it needs to be lower to get the proper look. 16's will give you a better ride and with stretched 40 profile tyres will give the same radius as standard wheels so your speedo wont be out. If you want 17's then you might be better of with the 8" wide ones as otherwise you will get some serious catching, i think you may still need to get the angle grinder out whichever one you go for tbh. I have rolled my front arches and grinded the rears and it doesnt catch now. As for offsets mine are et15 on the back (stick out past the arches) and et30 on the front (but as they are 16's they didnt fit over the caliper carriers so i had to grind some away). If you go for 8x17's then id day et30 would be safe. Here's some pics 8) Rob.
  20. THIS site seems to have a good price on Highsports.
