  1. A weeks not bad, yeah i will go for the full set including the rears, may as well  Oh and check this out PHWOAR!!!
  2. Yeah i think i might go for the set and try both and see how they look, for the sake of an extra $15 i might as well! Im also toying with the red rears, but mine have been black tint spray already over the orange which i am not keen on, can this be removed with a paint thinner??
  3. Yeah them blues look really nice, i think they best suit the silver and grey, they wouldnt look right on blackberry imo :|
  4. Oh and how long did they take to come to you Phil?
  5. Yeah both look have their advantages, the full smoked looks evil and leaving the fogs/indicators matches the numberplate and brightens it up a bit. I like this look of this red rado, and he just has the headlights tinted which looks great:
  6. Yeah that would look interesting  i think the blue tint on your grey C will look 8) I thought it was the euro kit but im not sure how the gun smoke would look as i dont want it too dark. Now i am stuck with another decision ... just tinted headlights or tinted fogs/indicators as well. I done a couple of chops :D
  7. Your C is looking awesome Phil :D get some pics up when you get them lamin-x headlight tints on :D
  8. Oh and did you get the euro kit?
  9. Which colour film did you go for Phil? I am really wanting to get some of these for my headlights but want a light tint, that link only do the gun smoke but i dont know whether that will be too dark :|
  10. Im 20 and insured fully comp on a vr with the AA who were one of the only companies that would insure me and the cheapest at £1200 fully comp with 1 yr ncb :D You have certainly made the right choice mate the vr's are awesome and everyday it will put a smile on your face :D Rob.
  11. Yeah it did look good on the speedies but i still have them in my garage and dont intend on getting rid. I just wanted to give the wide look a go for a bit and see if i like it, so far i like the looks as i am a fan of the 'wide look' but its annoying because they keep catching so i need to grind my damn arch lip away a bit  once the winter months get a bit more harsh i will be putting the speedies back on :D
  12. Yeah spot on mate, the corrado is such a good looking car standard so i think too much modding is pointless and runis them, subtle is the key :D The german plates just make it look so much neater and more classy!
  13. Thanks guys its comments like this that make it all worth while :D Im still absolutely in LOVE with my car, i enjoy it every day! Im really liking the look of the rims, although as toon vw says i also liked it with the speedies, but i still have them so they may return over the harsher winter months to come!!
  14. UPDATE!! Well i got my camera back off my sister today so i thought after i cleaned my car i would put my new german plates on which i purchased off of dubmeister.co.uk. Also i finally have my wheels on all sorted now (the right way round with offsets all sorted ) so i thought i would get some pics of these to show everyone 8). So enjoy and yes i know it needs lowering more but i cant afford coilovers yet :( Rob.
  15. When my dad cleans his engine bays on his vans he just sprays WD40 all over and gives it all a steam clean and they come up immaculate, he done that to one of his vans that had an oil leak and the engine was black all over and looked rank but now looks great. Just gotta be careful when steam cleaning engine bays make sure you dont get any in the air inlets etc!

130k is fine for a VR6 as long as its been regularly serviced. Mines done that and runs sweet as a nut :D good luck finding one :) Rob.

Correction i just looked on the knowledge base and it turns out the 1.8 16v is faster than the 2.0 16v and is a cheaper insurance group ... i think thats solved your problem mate - get a 1.8 16v  Rob.

    Advice

I believe the 2.0 16v is group 17 so not much cheaper where as the 1.8 16v is group 15 and has around the same power

  21. Yeah i would actually go for the original R32 and with the money saved stick a charger on it
  22. R32 for me just for the V6 engine growl and 4 wheel drive :D
