Yeah thats what i thought! I often sat in my mates A3 and my parents A4 etc and think its the little things that make them look more modern!

Oh and when i put mine on i was worried that the knobs wont come off without pulling the chrome rings off .. well it turns out they come off just fine so the rings are a perfect fit!

swfblade they are a piece of pi$$ to take apart mate, the shell just screws off the base. Exterior trims like the grill, headlights etc are clipped on but have melted blobs of plastic holding them in, they easily come of but you just need to put a blob of glue on after to hold them in place. Also the interior seats are one unit so you cant mod each seat individually but thats not a problem. Only problem i came across was the rear windscreen which is pop rivetted on so the only way to remove is to drill it out but i just masking taped it up as i couldnt be bothered :lol:

Yeah thats true so i will give it another coat or even 2 maybe! What do you think to these wheels (providing they dont cost too much) they are a much better match to the last ones. They come black but painted silver look fairly similar i reckon??

Will get some up tonight as i should be putting the shell back on the base. I think it needs another coat of lacquer though as its not quite shiny enough!

My work mate has owned scoobies for years and recently took the plunge and bought an Evo 8 FQ340 and he is very impressed with it. Although he recently had it serviced for £500 and that wasnt a big one apparently :shock: but his being the evo 8 they have to do all these checks to the diffs etc, crazy! And its RAPID :D lol

I have always been a dubber at heart, from a kid i loved the corrado and golf mk1/mk2's. And im lucky that at 20 my second car is the one i always wanted, a blackberry corrado vr6 and i fooking love it every day! I still look out the window at it, look back at it when i park up at work every morning and just think 'damn thats a good looking car!' compared to all the clones in the car park! And now i own a vw i am starting to make sense of other cars like the scirrocos/ventos/polos etc. I have always respected VAG cars a lot more, and now my house is full of them, parents have an Audi A4, my corrado, my sister has a mk2 golf and her bf has a mk4 golf :D Im maybe not a true dubber but im a dubber in the making and damn proud of it!! :D

The interior alone is worth over a grand!

Yeah im not keen on the Reiger grill/eyebrow combination either. It looks mis-shaped :?
