Hmm ironic  Looks very nice mate! 8)

I would of said exactly the same thing :D

Your wheels are mahoosive, i thought youd be able to put 312mm or bigger under there... Sadly not :( they are only 16's but because of the way they are designed with the deep dish etc they only just fit over my standards! Bit w@nk really but they look good so i will just have to upgrade discs/pads like i said.
-
Nice one Goldie! I wanted to do this to mine but they dont fit under my brocks :( so i just have to upgrade the discs to better ones but still standard size.
-
Bloody hell Karl! glad you survived it mate! Although you could of atleast crashed the car so i could have ya charger :lol: only jokin mate im glad the car survived as well!

I think the worst wear on seats is the bolsters which sag after being hit every time the driver gets in the car. I just try to sit in the actual seat when getting in and not whacking the bolsters. The rest of the leather will keep if you treat it every now and then i would imagine.

My mate came over again yesterday and we gave it a top up of wax after washing it first obviously  it was still looking really good after last week but now looks great again 8) And this time as it was only a top up wax the sun was out so i got some good pics of it! Cheers!

If its the front wheel bearing you will need a hub press to get them out/in but i believe the rears are easier. Is there a droning noise? And if so does it get louder as you go round a bend? If so then it could definately be the wheel bearing. If it gets louder when turning right ie round a roundabout then its on the left side thats gone and vice versa.

Yeah i ordered a set of new top mounts with the coilovers, they didnt come with them.
-
 bloody hell how the hell can they charge that! I agree with Tyler R the rims are way too big as well. I have been experiencing this problem whilst looking for wheels, they are all too bloody big!

Yeah if i cant get a good enough finish i might have to get the wet and dry out. My uncle inspected it and said i might be able to smooth it off with more lacquer if i completely soak it. What's happened is i have sprayed the lacquer on too thin each time and most probably sprayed it too close so its turned out grainy but if i put more lacquer on so it looks really wet and smooth then that should sort it out (touch wood!). Like i said in my PM kev it will be interesting to see how you get the engine bay like yours

If you mean the bearings that sit inside the top mounts then yeah i got these new with the top mounts.
-
Other than the original bolts i got everything new with my Weitecs and top mounts from g-werks
-
I'm not impressed! Now all the paint and lacquer etc has hardened its not a great finish :( the paint is ok and its all even but the lacquer has 'orange peeled' and i have ran out! Back to halfords to get some more then! Also i didnt get much done over the weekend but will be sorting out the badless grill one night this week and hopefully me wheels will turn up soon (if i actually oredered them properly!)

More pics for y'all. I gave it its last (i think!) layer of lacquer, let it dry a bit and then just placed the shell on the base, put the front bumper back on and the rear lights (which aren't the best of jobs but look good enough!). Its starting to take shape now :D (yes i know the numberplate sticker is really on the pi$$)
-
ahem - British ebay! Oh sorry, British ebay
-
Whoa thats really red  looks good tho 8)

VR all the way mate, the saving will be worth it imo. They go like stink, have bags of torque for lazy driving and most of all THE SOUND!
-
I think you should just put a real VR6 engine in your car to match the model :D
-
