just hate waxing around them and then trying not to get plastic cleaner on the paint when i clean them after. Not to worried about showing now it just for me :lol:

They are being painted to look like clean black plastic, also i dont think it will see a show as they are all to far away from me :( . just wonderd if it would loose points seeing as polishing up normally dull metal seems to help and thats not a factory look :?

Does anyone know if colour coding your mouldings and door handles would lose you points in a show for original spec cars?

You should of asked if they would let you sell them with the correct description on ebay and if they go for less than you paid then they pay the difference to you,and if you manage to put enough people off with the description then get a mate to bid and win at low price .you would get the wheels and a big refund. :lol: Or ask for a partial refund enough to refurb them then sell them on. If all fails take it to a dispute now because you already have a part refund

look the same as mine and they are ok. I had to glue mine in and put black electrical tape around the back to stop any light shining between the ring and the speedo facia.

dont put to long a screw in the wing mirror motor so it sticks out the shell just after a full respray :oops:

Is it a vw screen or a pilkington or other? RAC did mine last week they couldn't get the pilky one to fit properly so had to fit vw one and found that hard to do. Think alot have had trouble until a genuine screen is fitted. Insist on vw sekrut one if it isn't and a new seal.
