Nice one. Please put me down for one. This money is burning a hole in my pocket

Just wondered how things were coming on?

I'm 23 now. 17 I got my first car an XR2 18 Got a Lharsa Green Mk1 Golf GTi, Spent loads on it and still love and miss it!! 20 Got Corrado G60, still have her today. And this is the only year I have paid less than a grand to be insured TPFT

Just looked at that RGM website and they do a double pod. I was thinking about getting an Air/Fuel gauge to go in the other pod. Has anyone seen the one Pitstop developments do. I saw a pic the other day and it looks well smart. Has anyone got anymore info. P.S. Sorry if this goes off the thread a little. RACK

Any G60 garages in Sheffield / South Yorkshire?
RACK replied to G60BoyRacer's topic in Suppliers Forum
I take it you're in Sheffield then? I'm just down the road in sunny Rotherham. Try JBS Autodesign in chesterfield, top blokes and know their stuff their number is 01246 550400. -
They look S**T HOT!!! Not sure what they'd look like in white though?? I take it you're after saving weight then Phatvr6?? I was thinking about taking the backseats out of mine and having it carpeted with a nice shiney strut brace showing, but I'm not sure if this will go down as a mod or not with the insurance??

From what I've heard about the X-flow engine I wouldn't care if it looked like you had tipped the bits under the bonnet with a wheel barrow. Can't wait to see the end result.
-
What's going to be the hardest bit about putting the top end together?
-
I think g-man and PitstopDevelopments do them. I'm not sure of the price though?
-
It allows for larger porting of the exhaust of the charger than if a normal outlet is used, I think???
-
I retract my previous statement  Thats looks like good craftsmanship. I only commented because I work for Corus (formally British Steel) in a fracture and fatigue lab, and have to check and breack various welds. It's unreal the kind of things you can learn but busting stuff open.
-
I be really interested in one of those!
-
I've never seen one in the uk but on some US sites I've seen a couple. I saw a corsa the other day which had a carbon bonnet, well I thought it was. It turned out to be a carbon look sticker that covered the bonnet, the bubbles in it looked fantastic.
-
Is it me or does the welding on that inlet look a bit dodgy?
-
I can't wait!!! :D It's coming on well then, Darren??
-
Is this a hard job? and 280bhp sounds well nice!

Don't forget the biggest screw driver you can find too. Nothing campares to having to undo a pain in the ass bolt that can only be losened by the "cutting a groove in it a whack away" method. Another favorite is chilling stuff in Liquid Nitrogen to shrink it. I work in a Fracture and Fatigue lab, and I spend most days braking metal.

I'll try and get a close up of the wheels tomorrow so you can see them properly.
-
I live in Rotherham, about 7 miles from Sheffield. So any kind people who have got some brembos on and would kindly let me try my wheel, I would be very thankfull.
-
Good point mate :( . Looks like I'll be trying to find some of those audi calipers
-
Henny: Your wheels look like a pretty similar design to mine, being flat. How do the calipers fit on yours?
-
Top idea!!! I'll see if I can find him.
-
Cheers mate, I would have replied sooner but the computer keeps logging me off

Just looked at the post again.. I think if your 16's have a 37mm offset the brakes will fit but it really depends on the spoke design. I know mine have that offset, but I'm not sure if the design is right, they should be ok due to them being Khan replica's (you could only get real Khan's in 15's and 17's) and flat faced and if I knew they would deff fit on mine I'd snap them up. I'll have to get an expert to look at them to se what they think. If anyone wants to see the wheels my car should be on the gallery somewhere

I've just looked out of my lab window and seen an Ibiza cupra with the Brembo's on. Could this be an omen?? Oh if only I could fit them behind my 16's, or if I wasn't tight and got some 17's!!! To Aposegil.. Any ideas where I could get those UR calipers and would they be hard to fit? Cheers mate
