i had a rear bumper iron with a towbar on it for a corrado, apparently a previous owner used to take his rear bumper off and just put this on when he wanted to use the towbar. i coulnt give it away on here and ended up throwing it in the skip

hi all, i have a late front on my g60, late bonnet, grill , lights etc but the clips are broken on the passenger light. i have a spare passenger light but its an early one and was wondering if it was possible to put a late lense on an early light? hoping one of you techys can let me know, cheers, karl.

as some of you may know, i tried pitching this up for sale towards the end of last year needing a bit of work, only messers and timewasters showed any interest so its still here and ive pulled my finger out and sorted out all the little bits that needed doing, here she is, will most likely bring the old girl out in the summer as a toy as i have my postman pat inca as a daily

alright chap, cant help with the power steering pump, maybee a second hand one will do, check the guys breaking their cars in the forsale bit, also the 2 tensioner rollers, if you mean the 2 black plastic ones then i have a new pair that i never fitted (was some rumbling from that area and thought it was these tensioners but it turned out to be cambelt tensioner so i never used these 2) can have them both for £20 if thats any good to you, and im nice and local too (right by merry hill) karl.

i would rip it off, surely you would scrap the cat if your welding to it ?
-
Ouch yes they were exactly like that but painted finish nobody wanted em even for £20 (as I couldnt find another) so the scrap man had them for £30. I've only ever seen them on SAABs (factory option) but they are a different stud pattern (mine were 4x100 et24, presume E30 fit). 1 was bent after hitting a kerb in my golf, 2 were perfect and 1 had a ding in the inside rim. If you are quick Morecambe Metals might not have recycled them yet :gag: . I kept the centre caps and the security bolts/key to hold the centres on if they are any use to you? im not going to be able to get to morcambe mate, gutted, mine is 4x100 et 25, they were a factory option for the g60 corrado apparently. i have only ever seen a few sets of these r15's (all 4x100), but they never seem to come up for sale. dont suppose you fancy going back to the scrappy to get them back for me do you? if you had advertised them on here, then i would have snapped your arm off for them. karl.

touch wood ive never had anything this drastic happen to me, must be gutting. have to look at the bright side though, at least no-one was hurt, and your insurance wont go sky high if you decide not to persue a claim. if i was you i would sell what you can from the car, scrap the shell and go on the hunt for another karl

are those ronals like this by any chance, this was the spare in the boot of my corrado when i bought it, but its unfortunately been sitting on a set of crappy tsw's for a while now, if your set of 3 is the same then i will buy them from you, for a bit more than the scrap man is offering too :D karl.

G60 - Connectors behind center console? Who knows what t are
mk1g60 replied to Riley's topic in Engine Bay
possible cables for the optional oil pressure and voltage guages?? -
thats the one, would have been perfect if it was oil pressure and boost pressure, but no doubt there will be a way of putting boost pressure in place of the voltage guage at a later date. my consul looks the same, ie dash with the sliding heater controls, J-plate g60, pm me with a price on your kit then chap. karl.
-
hi all, theres a guage panel that goes in a rado centre consol on ebay at the moment but its without any guages, what guages would have come standard with one of these guage panels? im hoping your going to tell me its boost pressure and oil pressure as i think these would be ideal in the g60 :D oh and if anyone has a pic of one of these panels fitted then i wouldnt mind a look to see what they look like fitted. cheers, karl.

i have 100% faith in the bloke, he replaced the shells in the bottom end, and fitted a new clutch for me towards the end of last year. cheers for the heads up though whats the verdict on these tsr manifolds anyhow? would have ideally bought a manifold and exhaust from Darren, but this manifold and system was cheap and local so i couldnt say no 8)
-
i will be buying a new one, was pretty sure it would be a stock gasket for this manifold, but its always good to get a bit of confirmation from you guys on here as theres always folks here that have been there before when doing jobs on their corrado's. would main stealers be the best bet or is there somewhere that will have the gasket on the shelf? (or gaskets as im guessing it will be 4 individual bits as opposed to 1 big bit)
-
hi all, i have a 4 branch tsr stainless manifold and stainless system sitting in the garage ready to be fitted to the g60, would a new standard manifold gasket be the one i need to buy or would there be a specific one from tsr needed? i appreciate that this is a bit of a newb question but ive never fitted an exhaust before, mate of mine will be fitting it for me and i need to just be able to leave him with the car, exhaust and manifild gasket at short notice when he wont be busy. cheers, karl.
-
have mailed you through the forum darren, look forward to your reply. karl.
-
which one would you guys recommend? charger has had a rebuild but with 68mm pulley, has an aftermarket panel filter in the standard airbox and will soon have a 4 branch manifold and stainless exhaust fitted, currently on the standard chip in the ecu. i do have another ecu with an suspected sns chip in it which makes the car run crap (guess it was mapped for a different setup as it makes my mates car run much better, golf country with g60 fitted and rallye intercooler etc) would it be better to just get this remapped for my setup? or could you guys recomend a good chip thats setup already for the few mods that i have? cheers, karl.
-
offer to buy it back for what he paid for it if hes not happy, when he turns up with the car knock off £2 per mile hes put on it since hes had it if he wanted a car that was free from stonechips then he should have bought a new one from the main stealer, not a second hand car with a months MOT left
-
i sold a black rado 16v that looked a little similar to that (ie smoothedfront bumper, lowered etc) around 2.5/3 years back to aguy from ireland, maybee this is the one thats been spotted?
-
g-dub, ecu arrived qickly and well packaged, nice one! :D
-
would the things in the rear window be for putting fuel in?? endurance corrado by any chance??
-
took this a couple of months back, good old g60 still has another 100k left in her too
-
right have had my car on the rollers again today (91 g60 with standard recently rebuilt charger, 68mm pulley, sns chip), and it made a poxy 145 bhp, running flat until about 4.5k revs.. ive had my suspicions about this ecu for ages now buthave done the usual checks first to rule out the simple stuff, changed the temp sensors, 1m vac pipe, had all timing checked, had the crank bolt changed for a dx one etc.. i borrowed a mates ecu while on the rollers and plugged it in for a run (this ecu also has an sns chip) and it made a tidy 187bhp (thats more like it :) ) so obviously the fault is with the ecu/chip/mapping. do you guys think that if i sent my ecu away for a remap it would make things all ok or does it sound like a shagged ecu thats not worth bothering with? let me know what you think. karl.
