  1. The game is only ever in 'lockout' from an hour before qualifying until the results are posted... otherwise you can update whenever. But you can only make 3 changes in between races and then it gets locked again. I guess that prevents you from changing the whole team after friday practice results. :)
  2. These guys are in Thornton Heath, not used them myself but they are the most local I could find to me.
  3. corozin did his in an audi grey. it was a flat one tho and looked a bit like primer but it did look good and brought out the lines really well.
  4. Bronze! As in a dark brown with gold hints. Sounds cack, looks awesome. Urban camo?
  5. Love that Hamilton quote "whose frikkin' idea was it to bring me in?" Great race, at points I was standing up shouting at the tv for one reason or another, that rarely happens for me when I watch F1.
  6. Hmm, there's not much further to go with a V9. Going over stage 2 causes belt tension issues. Apparently they don't take too well to charge cooling (pressure drops) so that kinda rules out a short runner too. Not really running enough boost to merit a compression spacer as you'll lose lots of low down power, but I suppose married with a Schrick intake it could work. 6 branch exhaust manifolds are meant to be good though. But I'm thinking of selling and going for a Rotrex. I'm surprised you're not getting a bit more out of it with the water/meth injection.
  7. For your info Scott Stg 2 is 8psi Ah yes, quite true, forgot about that. Scott, what specs do you have on your charged beastie?
  8. yeah, i thought they were deep dished like Borbets or something...

  10. check my sig for specs. was pushing 305 bhp before I went obd2. no idea what it is now, round about the same i'd hope! it was also mapped on standard exhaust and no water injection so i'm sure with a compensation map i could have squeezed a few more horses out of it
  11. I did but it's not in the best condition, been chopped and adapted a bit and I'm wary it may leak boost. I would run the charger - silicon hose - metal t-piece with recirc valve - silicon hose 63mm-76mm - then my 76mm bonrath up to the TB with another silicon hose, should look and sound nice and probably flow better but I am aware I should try and keep it 63mm right up to the TB, is it that much of a difference though? I think you should keep the 63mm wherever possible. Think about blowing air back thru a funnel, it will go fast at pressure thru the small tube, but when it opens up, the pressure will drop as there is a greater area to fill with the same volume of air.
  12. is the noise they make when they go wrong
  13. Did you not get a moulded plastic pipe with the kit that goes from charger to TB? I take it not...
  14. Coolio, Pretty much done then... Test drive tonight  Awesome! You'll love it.
  15. That's where I've seen the picture, I knew I had it in my head for a reason :D If I'm honest I accidentally deleted your very informative PM so I couldn't double check, Was that for the recirc valve then? Yup!

Not for your C i hope matey! it'll ruin the handling and for what? so you can scrape the sump on the ground when you park? :camp:
  17. 50k for a beetle! did it have a v8 or something?
  18. and is a bloody stupid place for it....2 years down the line and mine is rusting to f*ckery :( i didn't expect them to put it there and certainly didn't ask for special hoses to reach to be made at my expense! :censored: it also steams heavily in the wet and makes you think your engine is on fire. :brickwall: (i have rolled arches and no splash guards btw)
  19. Scirocco, simply because of the looks :luvlove: and the rarity. Mk5s are common! haha
