    What Air Freshener?

I buy those fruity round ones from Halfrauds, iirc they are called Pogo. Not a big fan of other flavours, but a nice orange or lemon smells good. Of course I have this on display permanently, even tho it doesn't smell anymore.
  4. Ah bugger, I've moved house and won't be getting my copy! Who do I notify?
  5. confusing much Now I don't know what my name is or where I come from.....
  6. I've got one on my VR, looks good from the front, but a bit unbalanced from the side. Your choice really.
  7. What you really want is a nice whooooooosh as the charger/turbo gives you boost to tell everyone you are booting it. All dump valves do is let everyone know you are changing gear. (and maybe stop your engine going bang)
  8. Bloody lunatic! No way I would spend 8 hours cleaning my car. I think the most I have ever done is 2  Does look nice tho 8)

    what they worth?

£200? hundred for tyres, hundred for rims?
  10. Awesome cake! Looks like its rolling on 13"s tho....
  11. Don't forget thatonce you've got the kit you've then got get the bugger installed, which will cost a fair whack as the loom is a bit awkward.
  12. Ah, The Gun. Used to drink there as a teenager. Good rock pub. 8) tbh if you want a fight, you're better off heading to Tiger Tiger or Yates. That's where the scum drink.
  13. If you live in Croydon... Charged VR... faster than the speeding bullets on a Fri night! :norty: Croydon...be quick or be dead.
  14. both have there flaws, i'm sure you will soon get sick of attaching/un-attaching the clutch lock especially if you have a bad back. and i had one of those disc locks and soon got pee'd off with it when it was not secured to the steering wheel, it just does not stay still in the car and was always smashing against something. I had one of those diskloks too, I thought it was a good bit of kit. Nice and big and shouts f-off to any chancers. It is rather bulky as Karl says, but it does have velcro on the underside to hold in place when u sling it in the passenger footwell. It does rattle a bit as well which hacked me off.
  15. In my wild days it was easy to get over 130mpg out of a VR6 as well. lol Town driving - valver Anywhere else - VR. Quirky inbetweener - G60.
  16. I thought it was a sausage at first. But I think swiftkid is right, I unplugged mine when i fitted an uprated loom.
  17. If i were u I'd keep the boot lock. You could probably still use a solenoid to help open it, but you're going to need some way of getting in the car if it all goes t*ts up. Replacement glass is getting rare now.
  18. I'm getting Audi A3 handles cut in, not smoothing ... Sorry, what I meant was are you getting rid of the door locks too? If so, how will you get in if your battery goes flat? Not having a pop, just making sure you've thought about it.
  19. You smoothing the door handles too?
  20. Doesn't Borat wear a Mamborghini?
  21. Its very different Kev, as Audi and Lambo are owned by the same parent company and they are trying to keep costs down. Compare that to some geezer in his garage, taking two completely unrelated cars and chopping them together. I'd have had much more respect if it was an old style Mustang, or some other 60s muscle car. Now that would be cool 8)
  22. Recently I've been having running issues. Aside from the stalling, which is synonymous with charged VRs, my car was not performing as it should, suddenly cutting power, struggling under load and generally down on power. It was ok if I booted it, but that's not always practical in London. :D I had traced it to the maf wiring, but having the electrical aptitude of a beagle I decided now was the time for a management upgrade. So off to DG Autotech it went, along with a tasty Neuspeed rear ARB. I think it was a bigger job than the boys anticipated but I'm pleased with the results. She runs so much smoother now, the stalling is a thing of the past and it revs like good 'un! It got a live remap on the road rather than a rolling road and I think its a better way of doing it as RRs are an artificial test. (it was RR'd last november and got 305.7 bhp, but I dunno about now. I suppose that's the one disadvantage :) )The ARB has improved the handling too, it feels like the back of the car is connected to the front again, but I think I'm gonna have to watch out for that lift-off oversteer! Can't wait for the show season to start so I have an excuse to drive long distances  Hats of to Graham and Dave for persevering thru illness, snow and popping hoses. :salute: Oh and I have a nice black fanimold too, looks the dogs. Pics to come when its lighter outside.
