  1. did this m25 rado have a really rusty drivers door? :D i've been up and down there in the last few weeks. i think Jim has summed it up quite well. they're great fun in the twisties, its only on long stretches and motorways that you'll notice a lack of power in the higher gears. where in surrey are you?
  2. Wallpaper that mofo! A nice bit of 70s paisley should do the trick. I can definitely see it being the next 'scene' thing.
  3. lol... That's me told....  yeah sorry, was at work and i had a warning a few days ago about surfing the net so i had be quick, so it might have sounded a little brusque. think i might just remove the flap and see what happens.
  4. Its practical for my eyes, it sits right in my line of vision and is near the rev counter which I look at a lot! I'm not really into the pillar gauges, which look a bit chav to me, and in the centre would not be easy to see. So
  5. anyone else care to give an opinion?
  6. It was meant ironically but there's no smilie for that. :D Wonder how he'll do? Pretty cack I reckon, I don't even think he'll be faster than the Ice(cream)man who, let's face it, isn't exactly trying hard this year.
  7. Another daft question from me as I can't work out what to do. I have decided to put a boost gauge in the driver's vent as shown below. IMG00041-20090820-1845.jpg[/attachment:c8bdmmsa] Basically the problem I have is thus: the gauge fits, however the gubbins at the back that the hose and light attaches to sits against the flap in the vent tunnel and means I will be unable to connect it up unless some drilling is done. So do I: a) drill a hole in the flap and keep it shut b) have the flap permanently open (horizontal) so the connectors fit either side of it, meaning that it will always have hot or cold air blowing over it c) remove the flap completely, drill a hole in the tunnel and possibly make up a smaller dummy flap to sit a bit further back, or not have a flap and have the same results as B. Just wanted to get opinions and see if anyone else has done something similar. Cheers guys and gals
  8. Its nearly that time again, any changes must be made before quali on Saturday. Go Badoer! :?

    VR6 running hot

So does it come on or not dude? Run your car and check what temps the fans come on, at least you can then rule this out. :D check out this thread for a comprehensive guide.
  10. This car is the dogs bollocks! (that means its good :D ) I think the bodykit is fine, plus it shows off the intercooler which means you have something potent under the bonnet. The paint choice is sublime. And, if you think about it, sub lime. Geddit?
  11. How much does it cost to get a head flowed?
  12. I usually find the 'M' badge brigade are up for it, and more suprisingly, Merc barges!
  13. sure thing mate, no probs.
  14. ^^^^^that's half the fun of driving a fast car! Twonks in Saxos and the like :D I'd like a go in this one day, see how it compares to the V9.
  15. :nono: :censored: sorry buddy, just saying what I'd pay for it. but i am a tight goit. :D i don't think it helps having how much you paid for it in the first post! probably thinking about it now 1500 would be reasonable, 1750 on a good day. you should enjoy the car now its been rebuilt, what's the point otherwise? apart from cash
  16. Had a guy in a debadged 08 plate Audi (could have been an S5?) give me a big thumbs up on the M3 on Sunday. He didn't want to play tho :(
  17. More specifically, their Rolling Road. I've got the bug now and would like a 3rd opinion :) Plus its a darn sight closer than bombing up to the M3 every time.
  18. Grand? Twelve hundred? Maybe a touch more?
  19. I always wait for 80 water and 80ish oil before booting it.
  20. Quoted for truth  All hail and bow down to the prophet VR6. You're my hero :luvlove: So, who's going to win the 3.30 at Chepstow? :D
  21. just looked up e-peen  liking the charged up badge in the bay too, made me smile.
  22. that's nice 8) what does flex my epeen mean? :D
  23. Interesting is certainly one way to describe it, where as I would call a piece of 3" pipe tacked onto standard runners a bit if a bodge  well i meant it looked pretty cool and different, i never said it would work efficiently!
  24. holey sheet. interesting short runner too... 8)
  25. Nothing beats a bit of metal. Soufly, sepultura, slipknot, system of a down, chimaera, ill nino, machine head, cradel of flith, job for a cowboy, hatebreed, slayer ect ect ect could listen to them all day. But nothing wrong with a bit of Rancid, sex pistols, clash or anything like that Well, Nu-metal can kiss my ringer with its epileptic drummers (ie Joey from Slipknot) and open E-string rythyms, but old skool stuff like Maiden, Slayer, Pantera et al where they actually play a tune instead of a rythmn, are fekking awesome. I agree with Kerry King when he talks about mid-90s metal when there wasn't a solo for about 10 years cos the guitarists weren't good enough. But uts nice to see a resurgance of 80s style thrash with killer riffs and howling twin geetars.
