Land Rover 101 Ambulance: Back off and on ground Pg3
The_Dude replied to Jim Bowen's topic in Members Gallery
That is so cool. What colour are you going to paint it? I can only think of one way that you got the cab on the ground and I wouldn't have liked to have helped! -
mmm, delicious.
-
this is the only pic I have, unfortunately I got it done in black so you can't really see! \ And it only took a couple of days too.
-
I got the Polymer coating which is the most expensive one.... 2x Calipers £34.78 + £5.22 VAT 2x Carriers £26.08 + £3.91 VAT Posting £8.61 Total £79.89 So to get all four done in the polymer will cost about 160 notes.
-
It really depends on what finish you go for and how much you want them to rebuild the callipers after painting. I'll have a look when I get home cos I had just the paint done for my fronts and it wasn't very much at all.
-
bananawhip's got one i think....i can't see any advantage apart from absorbing a lot heat from the block and making your charge hotter. which isn't an advantage at all! :D look like pure jimmy savillery to me.

Plus you'll get a warranty with the Rocco and not have to MOT it for 3 years. I always find it funny when people say "you could have 'x' car second hand for that money". Yes, but they never take into account the running costs of a high performance sports car with its one off parts and even just petrol and insurance (and soon a huge road tax as well).

As in the Harry Secombe coined phrase and not bird flu? :D
-
Well done Wendy, but having seen your driving there was never any doubt, you'd always breeze this.
-
Grey solitudes that were on Adz the Rat's old car (hodaz has it now i think). Looking fly Mic.

I love Continental Contisports2 or 3, but they're not cheap! More hold and grip than a tub of hair gel.
-
sweeeet 8) yeah you know you want a nugget, best colour imo...
-
But he's right, this is way too much fun. :D I'm gonna bow out now and not take any further part in name calling.
-
what the hell does ravening mean?

I've been caning Simon Says by Pharaoh Monch. Great tune. and also Adam F's Kaos album (both the hip hop version and the dnb remix with Craze)

The average age of the members on that forum looks to be around 17 so its no wonder no-one has told him he's a bloody idiot.

I always thought of you as a Stephanie.

Sweet Zombie Jesus....what a mess.

So am I the only one who was completely bored by the last section then? Yeah they had some good shots, but they also used the same acceleration sound 4 times (bounce off the limiter in one gear, bit of wheelspin in another) and there was no indication of how it drove. It could have been a complete dog with all that weight over the front. They might as well have just had one in the studio, filmed a walkround and be done with it. :? I loved the Stig giving it some in the Vauxhalls tho, that was proper beef. The mad powerslide in the second to last corner in the Monaro was evil! :notworthy: And the charger whine was divine.
