I think it was around 80 quid ish? Can't really remember tbh, it was a while ago that Dave told me about them. But in true DG style it comes with all the bolts needed and instructions. Utter legends those boys. :notworthy: Clicky -

The boys at DG do the spacer gasket. Support your local Corrado specialists. :salute:  -
What a bellend. He's blatantly done that on purpose to spite you. But knowing insurance companies they'll probably claim you weren't parked correctly or something equally weasely. I would have keyed his motor or left a nail or two under the wheels. :mad2: Or you could send his number plate off to the DVLA, find out where he lives then poo through his letterbox.

OK dudes, it sounds like my bearings are on their way out as I've been noticing a drone coming from the rear recently. Does anyone have the part numbers and prices for both front and back? (one of you dealer boys could oblige?) Thanks very much! :salute:

CF F1 Fantasy League 09 -Final results...who won, who lost?
The_Dude replied to The_Dude's topic in General Car Chat
He can keep doing it  i'd be happy to see Barrichello or Vettel snatch it from him. I was willing Kubica to pass Button.[/quote:3pab2lfy] I wouldn't mind seeing Reubens win as he spent so many years in Schumacher's shadow, but would still prefer the English guy to win. Results page 1. -
CF F1 Fantasy League 09 -Final results...who won, who lost?

Its going to be a good finish to the end, but Button seems to be doing his hardest to chuck it away. -
Woah! That was lucky. It could have nailed some bodywork or gone through the screen. At least this way all you need is a new screen.
-
Bit of a hassle when you can get a new one for a couple of quid. http://www.biggred.co.uk/nippleshop.html

Make sure its got lots of history too, with a high miler you want to see nice regular servicing.

I've been playing Appetite for Destruction a lot recently. Quality. Rocket Queen and I Think About You are my faves, but they're all blinding songs. A must for anyone who even has a remote interest in guitar based music. I might even go as far and say it is the definitive rock album. :notworthy: Chinese Democracy on the other hand :gag: :epicfail:
-
Were you not tempted to monster truck the tractor over it? Tho I think your dad might have had something to say about that...
-
I highly doubt that. Epic yes. Fail, no. This is an amazing build, full credit to you Doug, it should be awesome when finished. 8)

Minty minty. Lovely motor you've got yourself there. 8)

Looking good Mike, those covers really freshen up the bay, but you need to polish your inlet manifold! :D Money pit is right, it seems like every time I get into mine something goes. Latest is a bulb in the clocks... :brickwall:

Time for a table with pistons as beer holders and ashtrays!

I'm sure you can buy black fascias for the Alpines. In fact I remember someone on here has done it.

It was a bit rusty when I got it, but I guess having it live outside and not get washed much in winter didn't help! I'm getting a car cover this winter and I promise to wash it more.
-
Yes please Mr T. I'll drop you a PM.

Today I changed my heap o' rust excuse for a driver's door for a minty fresh one I bought from Dazfxvw yesterday. :salute: The last two years of almost constant rain have taken their toll and the rust has grown considerably. I've had to change out most of the innards, but luckily it came with decent glass and all rubbers intact. It was surprisingly simple to do, apart from rehanging it, which was a complete and utter buttache. I guess it may have been easier with someone else there to hold the door for me, but no-one else was at home so what ya gonna do? So intsead I enlisted the help of 3 bricks and some padding to prop up the door whilst I swore at it. I didn't time it, but it felt like a good 20 minutes of trying to get the bottom holes lined up and then getting the bolt in enough so the socket didn't pull it back out again. :bad-words: But I got there in the end. The central locking pump was also shot, so I had to swap that for another I had. The doorcard is still off as I need to get some sheeting to go behind it. I think the reason my old door got so bad was because the PO had used some kind of foam instead of waterproof sheet and it held all the moisture in the door. :( Anyway, I'm chuffed because it was really letting the car down and was a bit of an embarassment tbh. It looks a slightly different colour but I'm hoping its because the rest of my car is dirty and the door is clean. I was running out of sunlight and didn't have time (couldn't be bothered!) to wash it. I'll do that tomorrow and see. Anyway, pics for you who can't be bothered reading the above drivel. Storms also give extra scene points, but suffer from scene tax. :D

"MISFATS" surely?

I have real trouble believing you join the motorway at slow lane speeds Kev. :) The problem is easily solved by ripping up the slip lane and making sure you have overtaken whatever was level with you. Pedal to metal as it were. That pink rado is horrible, i've seen it in real life and the paint colour doesn't consistent, it looks darker in some places, almost red. In fact, it actually looks like a shiny faded red. It has a big spec and he's spent a lot of money, just not really in ways that rado owners appreciate. And you need at least a driver's mirror for the MOT i think.

Looking good there buddy, I like matt finishes. Not to sure about the fogs, think you'd have to bin them, but I think you can put the indicators in the lights. It won't look OE though. You gonna keep the plate in place? Please say yes. :D
