Just taken delivery of some go-faster parts, not going to say what as it may take a while to get fitted, but I'm excited!

yeah i think so too because of the electronic gubbins coming out the bottom, plus its over 100 notes. panel filter and snorkel removed is the best compromise imo. -

Ok. Dude, that sounds like the ok of a man who is not ok! :D 1500 seems a bit steep for second hand, or is it really worth that much more than a schrick? I;ve never heard of Pierburg. Is that a heinous crime?

Two screws, pull it towards you from the top and unclip the wiring. Its a bit easier if you take out the headlight switch/air vent too. Piece of pish, just don't drop the screws when putting it back it in! -

Get a nightclub bouncer to give you a stamp. :lol: I wouldn't see any problem with what you are saying, some may do however. So maybe don't write in the book, instead you could write on the receipt the date you changed it and the mileage, then clip it in. Edit - I always keep every receipt, no matter how frivolous. I even have one just for the clips for the fusebox tray!

What the hell is an inox finish? What advantages does it give over stainless (which i always thought didn't rust?) And how much 'better' are the KWs compared to the weitecs? (bit of stupid question i know, please be kind!) I was gonna buy the latter but my budget could now stretch to the former. This thread is way too long for me to glean any information from it. The 3 second memory strikes again. :?

Since the Nissan Figaro perhaps? That was a cool car. I saw a 500 at a motor show and it was bigger than I expected, but it is a thing of beauty.

The rears rub a little (as in the writing has rubbed off but no more) and the fronts have been rolled so no issues there. Not sure what she's on, its not standard, but some coillies are going on in the new tax year so we'll see what happens there.

Ta. Don't suppose you've still got the drivers door? Mine doesn't look it in the photos, but its quite badly bubbled with rust. Winter has not been kind to it.

I know, but after a day at work the last thing I wanna do is work on my car no matter how easy. That's what weekends are for and I won't be using the car till then anyway. She's a weekend toy not a daily hack. As for why I didn't do it yesterday or saturday is a bit of a mystery, but it is in my bedroom which I don't really go in during the day...........lame excuses. I'm just a lazy git. :lol:
