  1. Mine is a 93 K reg VR as well, and has a dizzy - perhaps you and I are at the beginning and the end of the changeover point (respectively)
  2. Just for future reference, early VR6 Corrados had distributors, so you cant always presume that because it's a VR it will have a coil pack. Probabally a fairly useless piece of info, but you never know.
  3. As per my previous post, will take the bra at asking price, but i know im in a queue
  4. Thanks, interesting for weights etc. Didnt see anything called a ZW1 though..I'm only asking as I'm curious, not trying to stirr anything. So was the ZW1 originally a porsche wheel? Or did RH manufacture a wheel called the ZW1 which looks like one of the Porsche variants from a 964 turbo?
  5. Yes, but his are 4 stud. So if they are a porsche wheel, which porsche had a 4 stud bolt pattern..? Or were they never a porsche wheel at all and ive just completely made that up?
  6. I thought ZW1s were a porsche wheel, which is 5x112?? or 5x130?? No?
  7. Can I have 2nd dibs matey..cant committ 100% yet, but I guess this works well with Matt taking 1st dibs. I'll keep an eye on the thread but if he pulls out let me know.
  8. If the grill has all the clips intact and you will post it, I will take it. Thanks
  9. Did you get a dyno print out with the cams and re-map? Any idea on power?
  10. As soon as i find a pair of 7j or 7.5j d90s to replace the current front 6js, they will be getting a refurb and wrapped in new rubber. ---------- Post added at 7:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:20 PM ---------- :D
  11. Camera had no battery so only Iphone pics unfortunately, they looked a lot better on the phone. Anyway, you get the idea.
  12. Cant do it - have mulled it over (and over and over) and decided that for now, for numerous reasons, im definitely keeping it. Now has 13 months MOT (only needed an ABS sensor which I knew about, and a headlight clip)...prior to the MOT I fitted a new hub and wheel bearing at the front o/s. With that and all the previous work on the bushes, ball joints etc etc she's now driving beautifully. My only frustration is there is a slight knock coming from the exhaust on the rear beam so will sort that next weekend. Gave it a quick wash today, pics to follow. ---------- Post added at 7:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:05 PM ----------
  13. Good effort, paint looks awesome.
  14. Thanks, duly noted - as it stands I am keeping the Rado, cant bring myself to part with it yet I dont think. A 540i may well be an option for the future.
  15. Drove an S3 last night, re-mapped to 280bhp, well looked after, but it did nothing for me. I got back in the rado and really questioned if I can actually bring myself to sell it. I do love my Corrado!! ---------- Post added at 12:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:03 PM ---------- You make a good point, I think its easy to presume that a newer more modern car will be less trobulesome and cost less to maintain, but in reality probably not the case.
  16. My point exactly - Kev was saying that you need to invest in good suspension to prevent crashiness and rattles etc, which I agree on. However I have V1s, which as you say are well regarded, but I still suffer with the rattles etc. So keen to know what he considers good suspension.
