yeah i hope so..but having stuff to do on the car, as much as it is a drag financially, is pretty fun!! especially when the end result is amazing!! (long way to go though...)

ok so woke up this morning and had to take the borbets off the car to have them refurbed so back on standard rims..then give my mate the keys so he could get in, instead of using the central locking he puts the keys in passenger side and pulls the whole lock out the door..great..then the handle cable snaps drivers side so i cant open that door and then when i return to the car after parking it some tool has driven into the side of it and dented the rear wing!!!!! arghhhhhh!! i need cheeering up!!

my next door neighbour came knocking complaining i was in her space and that on top of tht the car looked unsightly..i asked her why? she replied, ''well..it has 4 flat tyres for starters'', and then couldnt list anything else.. she looked pretty embarassed when i explaned that actually it was in my space and that they are low profile tyres and far from flat..haha..old bag!!

no need for that..im perfectly capable of doing my own washing thank you!! haha! smoke was white!!! going into the garage on wednesday to have it looked at, im guessing if its oil as u suggested i wont be able to do anyhting myself??

both fine..actually come to think about it i dont know about the oil temp..but the water temp was fine, slap bang in the middle?? im worried!

or you could nip into halfords and buy the stereo keys from there..theyre cheap and sell keys for pretty much all steroes (cant help but that think that that kinda defeats the point of having keys but..)

so..this morning i wake up, get in my car and head off to uni..(late as always) i overtake someone and as i get to about 5,000 rpm in second gear and change into third a shit load of smoke pours out the exhaust and is left in a cloud behind me..after that the car seems fine, i put my foot down again and more smoke!! not good!! any ideas what could be up?

my footwell on the drivers side is pretty wet....but as far as im aware it is quite possible that the scuttle tray is blocked with leaves or something, have u checked yours?

can anyone tell me, (or tell me where i can find out), how high a standard 1.8 16v corrado should be from the floor..presuming a measurment being taken from the floor to the bottom middle of the arch??? need to know exactly how much mine has been lowered by and so need to know how low/high it would be if it was standard spec!! thanks!!!

i got the wheels from the person i bought the rado from..they had them in their garage..i needed to pump up the tyres on the car before i left and asked if they could lend me a tire pump..they pointed me in the direction of the garage and inside i saw the wheels stuffed in a corner..i asked if they wanted them or would sell them and to my surprise and they gave them to me for a VERY reasonable price which is why i took them without the centre caps..with a little tlc they will be ace..hopefully!! one is buckled bad though, and i doubt ill ever find just one spare!!!!????????

i have just recently bought a 16v corrado and i love it..one problem however is the stereo audio keeps cutting out..it stays on but no audio comes out..it comes back on if u bang the top of dashboard but only for a second or 2..i have checked the connections running into the head unit but nothing seems to be wrong there and the fact that banging the dashboard seems to help would suggest its not that, more likely a loose wire/connection somewhere, does anyone have any ideas what it could be!!!! seriously annoying!

whilst were on this subject.. how many cms should a standard corrado 1.8 16v sit from the floor using the measuring mentioned above?

i have just bought a set of 17" borbet As, but they didnt come with centre caps... :( and would look soooo much better with (as im sure most of you already know) im quite new to the corrado 'world' and borbet As are certainly not my speciality so if anyone knows where i can get hold of some (preferabally the flat ones) then it would be much appreciated..thanks!
