  1. I'll admit that when I jacked it up when I got home there was movement in the rear wheels, but now I've got the biggest torque bar on them, there's no movement now   Just kidding, only took 1/8 turn to get rid of the excessive movement. Just need to work out how to reattatch the handbrake lever now :?
  2. Failed the MOT today, play in the rear wheel bearings and he ripped the handbrake handle off the floor of the car :? Going to try and tighted the bearings, if not it'll be new bearings and discs. :(
  3. Green, H plate G60 near Barry, S Wales on Saturday. Was in my Mk4 goof so didnt flash.
  4. Sorry to hear your cars got a few marks on it, but I'm sure you'd be more p!issed off if the road hadn't been gritted and you'd skidded and crashed on some untreaded ice.
  5. I had some 16" BK wheels that are similar, looked like this: SSA50168.JPG[/attachment:19hl54wk]

  8. Hells about right, I nearly gave the missus whip lash  That'll learn her for saying it's slow :norty:
  9. Not sorted the rev counter yet, still need to call Kev back at Jabba and give him a reminder :D Not really needed a rev counter the last few weeks in this weather. My original plans were a little stupid :brickwall: Now realise it would have been a crime to change this engine, although my missus did say it wasnt very quick..until I turned the boost right up
  10. I've had standard cloth, TT seats and now cloth recaro's. Not really much difference in support between standard and the recaro's, it's not like every corner I take is flat out though so I guess I can get away with the not so supportive recaro's. :D
  11. The engine's cerinly getting some use :D Really glad I got this now, thought I'd miss the G60 more than I am  Glad now th eice is gone and I can start using the throttle again

  17. Stick with it, more than anything it would be a shame to see so much hard work wasted and another Corrado broken up, especially one as nice as this.
  18. Now then Stan, how's tricks? Posted yet? Car's going very well  not so much in all this bloody ice and snow but I'm looking forward to when it's all gone :D Whats this I hear about a Mk2 Golf? anything fancy?

    G60 Exhaust

I checked with VW 3 1/2 years ago and it was going to be £380+vat  It was cheaper to buy a full SS system and have it fitted
  22. Not got a picture, but it's just to the left of the expansion bottle. A metal 3 way piece with 3 rubber hoses attatched to it.
  23. 3 way valve might be blocked. It's in the engine bay located near the bulk head.
