    Please help!

When you try to crank push the key in quite hard, sounds like it might be a dodgy ignition connection. Failing that, take off the lower steering coloum cowling and give the plug on the ignition barrel a push when you try to start.
  2. Well I've just tried out full boost on the way home. I actually arrived 3 minutes before I left!! Dam this thing is rapid!!! :D
  3. yer it'll be about 50 quid, should hopefully be here by the weekend so I have something to do. I had planned on washing it but James even did that for me!
  4. I did turn the boost up to about 1bar last night on the way home, but it was really wet and just spun the wheels! I've spoken to Kevin at Jabba, he's going to make up a new RPM signal converter as James thinks it's the problem.
  5. KarlG60 had a cam for sale
  6. To be honest I havent turned the boost right up! I know what you mean about A road, overtaking has just become a whole load easier! I need to get the rev counter working now as I'm too scared as I dont want to bounce it off the limiter!
  7. Of course your always welcome to drive the car, I'm still grinning! and left the car on the drive an hour and a half ago!!
  8. WOW, I've just driven the car back from Peterborough and I still havent stopped grinning!! :D Absolutely stunning, and quieter than a G60!!
  9. The search works  I'm now looking to upgrade my S2 calipers for the Porsche Boxster rear's (421/422) So do I use these calipers, Ibiza Curpa R adaptors and the Ibiza 305mm discs? I'm a little confused after reading through pages of threads with a little hangover
  10. Wouldnt the area above the gearbox get fairly warm at low speed, as this is directly behind the fan? I guess it would be ok whilst moving. Didnt LisaK raise the rear of the bonnet to help cooling by allowing the hot air somewhere to escape?
  11. Sorry. my eyes still arnt working properly yet, stella vision :D
  12. I think it might have to wait a bit as my modding fund is starting to run dry :( Is that rallye gear destined for his golf?
  13. Is it still in the threads or has it dropped into the cylinder? If it's still in the threads, perhaps an easy out would work?
  14. wheels look superb, I've never been a fan of colour coded wheels but you may have changed my mind
  15. Well I'm gutted that the synco gear has just gone off of here :D New exhaust, either move my intercooler to get max airflow or mod my front bumper, and then a general tidy up of the bodywork.
  16. I'll have a word with him on monday. Is it just the sandwich plate you need? My old engine has on too so I can always send you that one if not.
  17. Turbo engine is in and fitted    I cant wait to pick it up on Monday, just need to watch my right foot  I can highly recommend James Hodson at Sub11Motorsport (I'm sure some of you will know his mk2 golf), superb service and excellent communication throughout 8)
  18. I wondered what they were down the sides of the seats
  19. With a solid mount you'll feel an increase in engine vibration throughout the car. G Werks do a very good upgraded one, or there is always Vibro-technic.
  20. Missed it :( Looks like it'll be another week at Sub 11 now
  21. TT dash looks good, thats a quality repair on the airbag. Always fancied doing this since seeing Jay R's last corrado. 8)
  22. Thats brilliant  I cant wait til the door handle breaks on the rado again, I'm going to chop the whole door off
