it would fit, but like you say, they are a different width, i think its about a 10-15mm but could be wrong, dont VRs have different offset on the wheels too, if you knew the offset of the VR wheels and the offset of the G60 then find out the tack width of the car i guess you could work out the difference. the track width of the car is listed in the handbook i think

that looks lovely hope you dont mind me saving a couple of the picture on my computer -
The MK3 golf 16v and VR6 have an even bigger weight, had one on my old corrado, made it have a lush gearchange not sure on the price tho and it might be part of the mechanisam rather than being able to bolt on and off
-
perhaps try spark plugs and leads next, although it might not solve the problem. the car will be running nice after all this new parts tho
-
i had what sounds like a simular problem on my old 16v turned out the be one of the HT leads. have these been replaced recently? might be worth looking at too.
-
i ve got the early style bonnet on my corrado with a strut brace had no problems with clearance i ve got the stroeve strut braces front and rear, the only problem i ve got with mine is stopping the rear strut brace from creeking i paid under £200 for the pair about a year ago are they really 325 now
-
what sort of washer did you use with your DX bolt? i ve just bought one after reading this thread and just re-used my old crank bolt. cant get the old bolt out now :( but had some wheatabix today so i ll try again
-
sounds complicated, i know when putting VR into polos the drive shafts need shortening, and dubsport have done a few of these conversions you could try ringing them. can you not use VR driveshafts?
-

Insuring 2 cars, any good deals??????
scruffydubbers replied to Andy Brookes's topic in General Car Chat
i insured my second car with HIC, and they took the my NCB from my other policy into account, i was very impressed with them, added some wheels and lowered the suspension and i had to pay no extra. -
the 16v fuel pump produces the most pressure out of all the standard pumps 5+ bar i know of a mk2 running 314brake still quite happy on the 16v pump,
-
when i put the wheels on a had to raise the car up quite a lot for wheel clearance, but had a couple of mm shaved of adaptors, so it ll go a little lower, but its proibably not as low as it was. i am using H+R adaptors, the threaded type, had no problems with the threads yet, but after reading this looks like i am gonna have to be careful
-
i am am, but 16's no prblems, altho i ve had the rear adaptors machine a little narrower, so i can get the car lower
-
i use a 22m socket with a hand held impact driver does the trick really well, and u dont need to hold the allen key. or a air ratchet

Wanting to swap g60 radiator for 16v as it's smaller...
scruffydubbers replied to C. Will Corrado G60 2's topic in Engine Bay
what about making some barckets for the top and possibly the bottom to space the radiator back, this might give you more room for your pipe work -
Wanting to swap g60 radiator for 16v as it's smaller...
scruffydubbers replied to C. Will Corrado G60 2's topic in Engine Bay
i think its quite important to keep the engine running at the correct temperature, a lot of ppl as i have done upgarde to a vr6 radiator for the g60, so i would nt really want to downsize the radiator -
 On my way to visit a friend in huddersfield this weekend when i was hit in the side on a roundabout, the guy was in the left hand lane and decided he was turning right, almost the same as what happened with my old corrado less than a year ago, last time it was a learner driver this time it was a holiday maker from hong kong in a rental car. luckly i was in my polo and not the corrado. the car will be written off, but whats really p*ssed me off is, my corrado is nearly finished and i was going to set-up the insurance so i could take it to inters, alltypes which are all in the next couple of weeks, now i have a claim outstanding it is going to be awkward to insure the corrado till it is resolved, so i will be attending the shows but not in my car for a while getting sick of ppl crashing into me now
-
they look really good it may not be a new thing, but there the best ones i ve seen :D i bet it took a while i now know who to ask if i attempt this

the clip slids through the centre of all the fuse box, on one side theres a small notch that you can pull to realise the plugs. i thought red and yellow was to do with the fuel pump too. wiring diagrams http://volkswagen.msk.ru/index.php?p=page09 http://www.snstuning.com/
