Mate, there's something suspicious about your front number plate.... :D  So that guy has one late wing, one early wing, an early grille and a late bonnet?
-
I don't know this for sure but I'm willing to bet his handwriting is better too!
-
Mate, give me a shout when you want to get it repaired. I'll see if I can pull in some favours with some paint repair people that I know.

I've had 2 G60s and I love them to bits. My current one is the best car I've ever had. :D Bags of character and gets a LOT of attention. I was giving it a clean on my driveway on Sunday and as I was waxing it a bunch of people walked passed and one of the blokes said "oh look, a Corrado"! It's the little things like that that make me realise why I love tham so much. It's just a great car and a piece of VW history.

I'd like to hear it in that dark alley though. Must sound awesome in there!

Can I book my car in for an MOT with him at the end of April please? :D

Nice story mate! :D I'd love to buy back my first G60. Unfortunately it looks as though it may have been scrapped.... :( -

I wish I had 35k to spend on my Rado. I'd do my Rado up and then buy a new Scirocco with the money left over! -
The worrying thing is it must have taken a lot of time and effort to get a car to look that bad!
-
Hoping to get my first Corrado tomorrow.

:iamwithstupid: And Cat D is nothing to worry about. The things Corrados get written off for these days it was probably a cracked indicator or something. -

PM me the reg and I can do some digging mate. Have access to HPI as I am a car salesman. -
Re the feel of the pedals you should defo go find another example to drive to compare them too. Obviously as it's at a dealer you will pay a little more than you would for a private sale but then you should get everything you can out of them. Warranty, full tank of fuel, the works. And it's amazing how saying "sort that problem out and we'll have a deal" is like waving a magic wand to make niggles mysteriously vanish! :D

I reckon you could find a better valver than that for £1700. Just keep looking mate. Or price up the cost of fixing those things and try to negotiate with the seller.

Do it!!!!

Sorry for OT but what wheels are those?! They're awesome. Edit: Found them. Perhaps a little out of my price range....

Pedant!

You speak from experience?

I just thought it was a clever chassis with a large firework strapped on the back? Make that 2 large fireworks! :D
-
Wouldn't thrust SSC be no wheel drive?
-
Yeah, what of it rude boy? You got something to hide? I could always get her to run some background checks....

Right, looks like somebody has been a bit of a naughty boy. The guy driving the bus apparently had two accidents that morning. The one he had with me he failed to declare to his superiors and therefore the company's insurance company. Not only that but he gave me a false name. Well, he gave me the name of the owner of the company! What's the betting he's not insured. Basically as it stands at the moment the solicitors are getting in touch with the company to say either you declare the accident to your insurance company and your insurance company pays up as the accident was clearly your fault or we sue you for damages. Seeing as I worked in underwriting for a long time and my girlfriend is a member of her majesty's constabulary he's kind of picked the wrong person to annoy. Currently I'm getting him done for providing false details at the scene of an accident. I wonder how the people in my village would feel about their children being driven to school by a criminal....
