  1. I have 280mm front calipers behind my 7.5Js with G60 discs. As for the rears they are standard for now..wanting to know if mk4 rear calipers would fit behind my 9J rears tho.. EDIT: oops, you want info for the 9Js..sorry :(
  2. Looks interesting, but I'd like to know how long they can run for once fully charged!
  3. How about a "My car is a corrado", 80% of people don't even know what it is when they see it! But seriously, I wish i had another car to put the sticker on!
  4. Voted :salute: That corsa....
  5. I agree it's gone downhill recently, but it still makes me chuckle . I think that getting rid of the 'star in a car' would be a good, productive first step towards improvement ..

Hi, I've heard some people say that it would require slight modification, but my ebay jobby fit perfectly...ok, well I snapped a tab, but it still holds!
  9. ok, I definately want one now! so please PM when ready :salute:
  10. Maybe your PAS pump is fubar'd? Just throwing stuff out here..:D
  11. Hello, Quick question, do front pads fit the rears no sweat? Also, looking at black diamond discs - Are the drilled ones good enough, or is it worth forking out the extra £30 or so for the combi? (Drilled/grooved). The front G60 discs are £150 from venom!
  12. And to revert back to topic.... Black Diamond discs FTW 8)
  13. Aaaah so you ARE on the forum after all! A friend of mine said he spoke to you as he walked past a few months back, but i suspected that he was blowing hot air out of his arse. I drive a metallic green 16v on Borbet As (9" Rears), but at the moment i've got some MOT spec wolfraces on whilst I get my coilovers fitted. I may be off road for a while too, because I'm starting my engine swap soon! Don't go to any meets (not until the car is done 8)), but I'd say the closest to us is probably No-Rice in Guildford. If you want t ofind out some more meet locations, check out the dub london forum (dub-london.com i think). Corradude lives up the road a bit more, and he says he's up for meeting 8) As for last month..I didnt spot you driving, only ever seen you on the drive! I've spotted a green Polish plate C around Redhill, too..
  14. Wait..so it's you!?! Do you live just before the Merstham Skate park thingy on the main road? Always see a Red VR6 parked up, and a guy cleaning it alot. have posted several times on the spotted thread but with no replies! I live in Purley, was Coulsdon before that. I'm in redhill quite often tho.
  15. Also off topic, but yours isn't a red one is it? See one driving around Reigate and Merstham all the time!
  16. You should speak to G-Werks, ordered mine (1.8 16v) and it came with all of the required gubbins 8) EDIT: also, paid around £45 for the kit i think, so the ebay ads price is questionable imo..
  17. Thanks for the input, davidwort 8). I never thought of getting the current flywheel lightened actually - but is it one of those components that is worth changing whilst the engine is out? It's covered 110k. No idea on what the shelf life is! Also, do you have any ideas on the flywheel size? Cheers 8)
  18. What a price 8)! I think i owe you more beers! Cheers
  19. My online tax came within a week!
  20. Cheers for that link Dec, it looks like it will fit the bill (providing it will fit!). I assume that this is compatible with the VR6 clutch? Also, what's the shipping cost like? I hope you are right about the Mk2 confusion, lets hope some others can confirm so that I don't spunk all of my hard earned on the wrong part, especially if it's from the states! :salute:
  21. Good morning, Firstly, general info: 1991 Jreg 1.8 16v It's got to the stage now where I need to look into clutch's and flywheels. I have bought a new engine (9a bottom end..), and am nearing the time to convert. I have decided to change my clutch, and have been recommended to buy a VR6 sachs/LUK one so that it can transmit a bit more grunt. g-werks have told me that there are two flywheel sizes on the valvers, and that 288mm would be good for a VR6 clutch to fit onto. Having no access to my flywheel, does anyone know what size flywheel mine would be? (See general info) Also, if it turns out that it wont fit, is there anywhere that sells a 288mm lightened wheel which would? As usual, any input will be gratefully recieved! :salute:
