Nice! tbh I prefer them to your old ones :(
-
It is, but im not sure about where to buy one ;
-
what are those ones? i know a man who has died and left a set behind and i wouldn't mind having them, although am sure someone said they wouldn't fit my C. they are on a transporter pickup at the mo, and looks like there are spacers or adaptors behind them They are Borbet As - 7.5J front with 9J rears (16") with the flat caps, they are 4 stud, so you'd probably need some sort of adaptor to fit..someone could probably elaborate more! My arches need rolling at the rears, 7.5J fronts clear no probs 8) My corrado is wound down -60mm btw. Side shot attached.

I think this looks awesome! Just me? so what :D
-
looks good, whats the quality like on those ones? No idea mate, i'll let you know when they are fitted! 8)

Cheers  . In keeping with the spirit of this thread, you're more than welcome to come down the road and take my SRP if needed 8)

Factory corrado also had 4x4 ride height ;) . I reckon that with a few subtle mods it could actually look nice. Or wait and see if they release an

Wow, thanks for the offer mate - it's very kind of you, but I think that it would probably just be cheaper for me to go and buy a bottle  . Maybe I should stop being such a tightarse and spend the extra £12. I felt well dodgy spending £40 alone just to wash the car!

I guess stonechips are better than a bra! (imho, anyway - but maybe i'll change my mind once fresh paint is on ;) ) I'm in Croydon mate, probably too far to go get that stuff from you :( But thanks for the kind offer :). Yours is looking great from the avatar - I guess that's also down to the Autoglymness? So there you have it - if you plan to make your C shiny on a budget, get clay + autoglym 8)

Are you using the money to get a boob job? Love that car btw 8)

Happy sunday all, Went to Halfords and bought the meguiars claybar set, Autoglym SRP, poo halfords car shampoo and a Mit. Due to being on a budget, I couldn't get the resin protection :( All in all it came to about £40. Oops!! The claybar set was £24 alone, so i deemed it as a 'must have'. You guys weren't wrong about the claybar though, I didn't know my C was THAT green! Sooooo happy with the results ^__^! The only downside is that über blemishes and chips stick out like a sore thumb in some places :gag:
-
Thanks for the quick replies :D So the AG super resin and the claybar will be definates...Is it advisable to use a shampoo with wax in it? (got some turtlewax stuff sitting on my shelf, could save ££?)

Sorry to hear this, I read in the paper the other day that this was the latest carjackers method of theft....bastards! Lets hope there's a happy ending

Good morning chaps, Seeming as it's my half day from work, I plan spend the afternoon trying to mint the exterior as much as I can, only with a limited budget. Went on some car cleaning website and filled a basket up with £65 worth of goods that i'd *really* want. However for that money I could get something far more worthy, such as working engine components Therefore, I'd say that I don't plan to go over £25 but would stretch to £30, and due to the only downside of online shopping (delivery times..) i'll have to go and abuse halfrauds :( So, what's the best polish, wax, shampoos to get? Reminder that halfords doesn't sell dodo juice IIRC :(. Oh, and for now I have a general car sponge :norty: The car is metallic green, so specific wax/polishes would be handy url: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/categorydisplay_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_categoryId_33974_langId_-1_topCategoryId_33958_parentcategoryrn_33958_crumb_33958_topcategory_33958 Obviously I know that it won't look as good as the 'full works', but i'll save that job until after a respray 8) Cheeeers :camp:

definately the AMG 8)

If i remember correctly, my pulley was completely siezed up and my tensioner arm needed replacing :(. Therefore, I disconnected the bolts of the pump (not the hoses!) to get a little play so I could fit the new belt. You might have better luck tho 8)
-
See attached pic. PAS fluid resevoir is actually to the left of the battery. The belt is below betweebn #2 and #3 near the bottom, there should be 2 belts - you want to check the small one! The pump is also down here :D
-
No PAS fluid, PAS pump fubar'd or PAS belt has come off 8)
-
I have a 13A Arc welder and its fine to penetrate 2mm easily, so I think you should be ok 8)
-
Hi, welcome to the forum! Your corrado looks nice, I think lowering it would finish it off though 8). Paintwork looks mint! That silvery corrado is interesting - never seen analogue clocks with a late dash!
-
Depends on the rollcage material mate. Stainless = TIG Welding(Not familiar with rollcage stuff, sorry). All other steels should be ok for mig, unless it's galvanised (not 100% sure on galvanised steel, someone may need to verify)
-
Considering your age and NCB, i'd say a 1.8 16v. Group 15 compared to a much higher 2.0 insurance group. Oh, and comparing 2 factory examples - the 1.8 is slightly quicker 8)
