  1. ok but the wideband sensor won't effect your fueling then because it doesn't talk to your engine management. So if you are running rich it has nothing to do with your lc1 setup. It will be mapping or the narrowband sensor. Looks like your wideband is knackered too though unless it needs calibrating like James said?
  2. cv boot kits are a tenner from gsf
  3. yeah thats high! 80 mph in 5th is hardly hard driving . I wouldn't see 120 degrees in mine at that speed either tbh what with all the air coming into the front of the car at those speeds.
  4. WHAT ffs, fair enough, anything i should be carefull of while doing this? Suppose i could tidy alot of stuff up too. lol,not really.Good luck. :)
  5. the water pump sits underneath the supercharger bracket so you will need to take the alternator off and then the supercharger out and then remove the supercharger bracket.
  6. New lines are a good idea,if you don't make sure you use a very good break bleeding spanner so as to not round the unions off,or else you'll end up cutting the lines and replacing them anyway. Never fitted totally dry calipers so I'm not sure about the pre-bleeding.I would of thought you'd be ok bleeding them as per normal with a good pressure bleeder like the ezee bleed kit.
  7. looks like the probe is shot as your idle is solid so I can't really be running those afr's or else your engine would be wobbling all other the place. I see what you mean about the rich running though. Sounds great btw.
  8. those lambda readings are dancing about a bit. I take it it is a wideband fitted?
  9. love the in the pitts pic. Looks very motorsport.
  10. Take the rubber boot off and check that the splines in on the end of the driveshaft and inside the hub are still good.Check for sighs of damage like metal shearings etc. I suspect that you have just pulled the driveshaft from inside of the hub rather than anything breaking. If you buy a new CV boot kit it will come with grease and it will be a good idea to re-grease the joint b4 reassembly. fairly easy tbh.
  11. Blue VR on what looked like g60 bbs?!? paint in good condition in sw10/chelsea area. today around,I dunno 16:00 ish..
  12. You may be right but it's a stunning car,and I say that as a McLaren fan. It just works on every track and is the benchmark that all the other cars measure themselves on.Downforce. I think the only pole they didn't get was was Canada.A trackthat Lewis seems to have an affinity with and was running the car on fumes.
  13. /\/\/\ Yup. I think Mark showed alot of class this weekend in how he dealt with it. Nice little comment(about being the #2 driver) at the end to make his point at the end of the race.
  14. the more i think about the webber situation the more pi$$ed off I get about it. "Something has broken on Sebs car" "No probs we'll just take it off Marks car,he'll understand." WTF!?? The next time Sebastian has a crash Mark will be asked to pull over and let Seb get in his car. Seb is good enough on his own.He shouldn't need favors.
  15. airlock i'd say. Did you test the new thermostat?
  16. take the rubber boot off,(You may as well get a new cv boot kit with some new grease) so you can see what your doing and then slot it back home into the grooves. ...might be easier to see what your doing with the caliper and break disc off.
  17. as above pls check that your battery terminals are on tight first off pls. thnks.
  18. intermittent flat throttle response in short. The sns website explains it. 8)
  19. google can do a pressure conversion for you. 0.4 bar=5.8 psi.
  20. you'll have just dislodged the splines on the end of the drive shafdt from the mating splines in the hub while you were jigging about with the strutrs. :) When you turn the wheel the driveshaft doesn't turn right and the rubber boot just twists?
  21. /\/\ 8) yup,that looks like the fella. cheers.
  22. An easy one for yah. What cunning techniques are folk using to do these up ? Specialized tools or makeshift tools/techniques? 8)
