totally agree with that, I hate after market wheels so maybe not the thread for me to be commenting

.....I think what Schuemacher did was pretty poor driving but I totally agree that many drivers have done similar for years and dont get the flack he does......Senna is the perfect example of this and he actually admitted to it  maybe thats why people hate him so much then as Scheumacher tries to cover it up !! I still think though that despite this season so far, he is an increadible driver and in his hayday one of the best of all time - some of his pole's were unbelievable laps, and his drives through the fields were amazing at times !!

yep as above RX's look mint :salute:
-
 yeah this is truely rubbish and more than a little odd !!

Last nights show was a good one to end series....... Ever since the first 458 pictures were shown I always felt it was the best designed Ferrari since the 355.....absolutely love it and almost as fast as an Enzo Really enjoyed the UK car tribute, felt a bit sad with the TVR factory though, real shame they are not made anymore...........but Clarksons number plate joke was so good, had me in stiches  !!

What featured/cover car Corrado can you remember!
Danny B replied to Majik's topic in General Car Chat
Yeah as much as I like reading about any corrado I would really like to see all the original road tests done when it first came out. -
Todays race was a strange one.....I think Vettels worth took a beating today, terrible mistake to make behind the safety car and really didnt push enough once Webber was out front. Webber was very strong, at one point when Webber missed the pit stop during safety car it all looked over for him, then out of nowhere change of strategy and he wins - well done, I like Webber 8) ......if any redbull wins it this season I want it to be him !! What is Schuey up to, his move today on rubbens was terrible and his comments after were worse.....I really hoped he was going to be in it this year but he has really disappointed. Shame the Maclarens were so poor as well. Roll on the next one, the championship is anyones at mid season

Looks much better on the solitudes mate plus more comfort equals the future surely :)

I was backing out of my garage with my Vespa and ever so slightly dinked the C on its rear arch causing a 50mm round dent in the panel........it was quite simply the most frustrating thing I have ever experienced :mad2: I almost put my fist through the front windscreen I was so angry  So I know how you feel fella........the new paint job and interior looks mint by the way - I'm not going to lie campagins arent my cup of tea but it doesnt stop me from admiring it and the work you have put into it :salute: Never mind storms this is the real collectors car IMO.

mimjed thats brilliant !! :salute:
-
Sorry mate not keen myself.

Great piece on Senna......love watching all that old footage with driver insights and stories !! Love the bit when Coulthard compared Senna's dedication to Mansell when after a practice session Mansell would go for a round of golf ..... brilliant !!
-
 yeah its running fine - not boasting but mine is mint with low mileage and gets treated very well.......I'm just a realist about the VR's real world performance :D
-
 Quite possibly, but seriously do you think in standard form and at 15+ years old, any of our VR's could get to 60 in under a legitimate 6.5 seconds.......I doubt it !! I dont think the VR has got enough low end grunt for it tbh even brand new out the showroom. Still its nice to quote it.
-
There is not a hope in hell myn would make it to sixty in 6.2 seconds  .......although I do quote these kind of figures to unsuspecting friends :D
-
funny how the same cars can feel so different, even though they are mass produced by robots - I mean its not like we are talking about handbuilt GTR's !! Might go some way to explaining why some car mags have differing views every now and again.
-
Welcome to VR ownership fella.......in answer to one of your other questions I find it more 'satisfying' :norty: to change up at around 5k rpm - anything above that in mine and it sounds a little strained and not enough extra poke to warrant the extra rpm !!
-
Thats brilliant mate, it must be nice to know your car has so much more to give and you cannot just jump in and put it on the limit. R8 and GTR thundered past me yesterday on the A3.....I was motoring but they looked like they were hardly breaking a sweat :( ........ :epicfail:
-
couldnt agree more.
-
I think thats a really good point but do you think that storms still command that much more than a higher spec VR anymore  I rekon the most sort after Corrado's now are the most standard ones, weather thats a storm, VR or G60 !!
-
good show tonight enjoyed that......Clarkson's citreon was very funny, the banter between the three with that was, for a change, really funny
-
I absolutely love that mate in a kind of Lancia Delta should/shouldnt way  Great buy :salute:

It's Friday..a silly discussion on carpark dings etc
Danny B replied to sprinterVR6's topic in General Car Chat
Sadly it's the world we live in. Obviously if I caught someone damaging my car, then the wrath of wire would be unleashed upon them, but I'd rather not 'attract' a ding if I can help it. It's a tricky one. I fully support SprinterVR6's motives for doing it, but I know how people's minds work when they're looking for a space and see someone has consumed two of them :D Anyway, what do you mean by "me of all people?" Yeah of course when you see someone do something like that you think 'twat face' but who cares if it stops other 'twat faces' from acting like, well..... 'twat faces' !! You of all people should agree with this
