I was gonna post saying I liked the all black front but you've gone and changed it  I can see why though, the black bra would make it look a bit much......car looks mint, red rears on red C's look spot on and I like the 'bra' look as well. :salute:
-
IMO the best corrados are the ones that look standard but have subtle mods......lupo wipers, standard steering wheel !!, slight lowering with collies, maybe a subtle exhuast and colour coded front grill. Keep it the way it was - for the most part - meant to be :D 2p
-
Yeah think I'm gonna do a bit more shopping around, thanks for the links and thanks anyway Stormv6.
-
Girlfriends just turned up at work to see me in it and she hates it  oh well at least it will keep the miles off it, she can use her own car more often now !! what do girls know anyway

They are indeed.....depends what you mean by ride quality - I take it 'comfort' - I only drive myn once a week so I can put up with stiffer ride, in saying that I've been in 'stiffer' :camp: cars. Problem with taking advise for these types of things is that everyones situation is different.....be it the wheels you have to the type of roads you regularly drive on, on the whole however, in the limited time I've had them I'm impressed so far with the weitecs
-
yeah I dont want to make the thing undriveable and I dont really like the look of it slammed on standard wheels....OEM look is for me !! Was even thinking of raising the back slightly

Hi all, thought I would post pictures of my newly fitted weitecs (thanks Tekara) had them on a day now and really like them   . They are a bit firm but to be expected really, they are sooo much better than my tired standard set up I had before. I wanted a lower height but not to actually look like its been lowered, what does everyone think ?stromlaufplan_gamma4.pdfPICT0031.JPG[/attachment:3c5n637h]Corrado92.pdfPICT0036.JPG[/attachment:3c5n637h]passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfPICT0037.JPG[/attachment:3c5n637h]climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfPICT0038.JPG[/attachment:3c5n637h]2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfPICT0039.JPG[/attachment:3c5n637h]PICT0040.JPG[/attachment:3c5n637h]

Uhhmmm......gave them a call and got quoted £320 for standard speedlines  Thats the first time I've got a price on refurbing wheels so I wasnt sure how good it was but after speaking to the guys at the phirm and your above post ^^^ that seems expensive  ......from memory there was two green storms there yesterday, was yours the one with 288 brake conversion ?
-
Blimey thats scary......I'm on my way down to the phirm tomorrow to get coilovers done and was thinking of asking them about wheel refurbing  !! how much did they charge you if you dont mind me asking you ? Is your C still at the phirm ?

Thanks I will pass on the link although I'm pretty sure my friend wants the V6.
-
Thats pretty much what we are finding out......from the sound of it the V6 isnt a sports coupe, but my mate doesnt seem too bothered about this, as long as he is behind me on the road it doesnt bother me either  Just need to test drive a few now, but finding one is proving quite difficult

cant believe it spotted TWO today  silver VR with BBS's (I think) near old street in London around 2ish and dark blue 16v on brick lane London with Estorils not long after. anyone :salute:
-
cool thanks for that I shall pass the good review on.....he's looking at the V6 mind but I've heard they are pretty solid across the board, although I did read the V6 is a bit gutless. I think its more of a cruiser than a sports coupe though
-
cool thanks I will take a look at that forum aswell, anyone actually owned one ?
-
I shall give fourtitude a try, thanks

Hi guys, A friend of mine is looking into buying an Audi 80 coupe and is struggling......does anyone on here know of a good Audi Forum similar to this one. Looked around this afternoon and nothings come up  ...or better still does anyone here have one and have any advise/tips ? Thanks Danny

I like the ideas and concepts behind both shows but what I cant stand is the presenters robotic scripts and cringe worthy script written banter....that ruins it for me :cuckoo: ......although I still watch both
-
