Thanks, tried to find that out for ages. Very emotive. Pretty sure he was up in Scotland there, over on the west coast near the Rest and be Thankful road. If only the roads were that quite. Thats great, I've been wanting to know what that track is for ages as I love it - its used loads in films and programmes........ending was great !!

Hi all, Sorry if this is in the Lupo/TT wiper thread already but those threads are soooo long to read  so thought I would post seperately as I'm being lazy  Fitted my knew lupo wipers and used them in anger for the first time today, all in all very pleased vast improvement, however, they do seem to judder over the screen quite alot even though they actually clear quite well......anyone else had this problem, have I adjusted them incorrectly in anyway

Having been to a couple of GP I can fully understand why he does leave after the first couple of laps. The racing is usually dead boring, and you get to miss all the traffic leaving the place, LOL no excuse in my book, you cannot bang on about the sport and promote it to its death like he does if you cant even be bothered to watch it yourself..... dick - bernie not you

I've always though Hamilton is the next Schumacher so seeing them race together will be great, especially after the last result  ......one things for sure, the next race viewing figures will be through the roof - job well done Bernie.......on another note I couldnt believe it when they said in the last GP that more often than not Ecclestone leaves after the first couple of corners  - what an arsehole !!

well this is different to the normal build thread.. -
thanks just done a quick google search and sounds quite simple to diagnose. They were subject to recall, so you will be covered anyway.[/quote:1ny48t51] yeah thats what I found out as well......not often VW will do anything for free so would defo make most of it if I had to :D

.....ever had above ^^^ problem with any of your fleet mate ?? No - can't relate to that at all. When I got the first 5-speed in 1987, it took a while to get used to as it seemed to graunch when going 1st to 2nd. Gear lever action was fine but not as switch like as new Toyota Yaris, or even the VR6. Personally, I would avoid that one you looked at. cool thanks for the input, I'm kinda thinking it cant be that serious......the clutch was fine and the gearbox wasnt making any strange noises or wiring.....I think it had something to do with linkages misaligned maybe  gonna take a look at another tonight and see how that goes

I herd this was because the shaft gets scratched and pulls oil out every time you change gear. In metros you can put a second seal in but in the MK4's there's no space. Dont no how much truth there is to that as my old mechanic who told me didnt put my wheel on properly and it fell off mid drive  .....right went to look at one last nite and everything seemed fine except the gear lever......it was like it was on a rubber band and sometimes struggled to engage gears......I'm not asking for a diagnosis but any opnions are welcome ??

damm, I was hoping someone here might have one but maybe a little closer to home :( ......just put kendal in google maps and had to zoom out three times to get london in shoot  .......thanks anyway fella :salute:

Mines the same though with the KWs. Round certain corners the back end feels like its going to let go. Though from what i gather is a corrado characteristic isnt it? or could be just word axle bushes, though i've had mine looked at and have been told they're fine.[/quote:3ixxrvk2] ....my bushes have been replaced recently.....I suppose with a road set up its going to be difficult to inherently change the cars characteristics just with different coilovers, I have heard others say the back end feels loose occasionally, makes it interesting sometimes though :)

I just put on weitecs on myn and around town they are a little stiff and I have speedlines as well !! the tail isnt as planted as I'd hope either if I were honest but I think I was expecting too much considering my old suspension was fubared  That sounds like a bad review, overall I'm happy with them.
