Paint Cleaner stuff Polish then Wax all Meg's stuff BTW there water magnet cloth is ACE
-
Quick Tip When washing by hand using a CLEAN mitt or sponge Use the two bucket method. Fill one bucket with hot water with car shampoo in it fill the second bucket with hot/warm water When washing the car use bucket one for washing and bucket two for washing the mitt/sponge, before dipping back into bucket one This way bucket ones water remains clean and dirty free, and should stop those nasty bits of grit getting rubbed across the paint work.

Total Novice brake change help needed please!
G60Jet replied to iow_corrado_g60's topic in Drivetrain
you can just undo the lower bolt and loosen the upper onen then swing the caliper up, just watch the brake line doesnt get kinked/squashed. you can hand the caliper off the spring using an wire coat hanger -

You can push the caliper pistons back before you undo the calipers, you can do this by hand without undoing the nipple (easy), but its hard, If you are changing the discs two just us a screw driver between the disc and pad and easy the caliper back, (but only if you are doing the discs too). Personally i would only try pushing the calipers back if the car is on stands, they are a bit more stable than a VW/Trolley jack. -
Yeah its been open for a couple of weeks now, me and my mates where debating going for a laugh....untill we saw the front page of the hinckley times this week, ........all mingers, no better than spending £30 on a night out in Hinckley Stinckley really. I guess if you've just passed your test and got a load of virgin mates then its for you!!

If the car was any good to start with would they not find the money to repair it??
-
Basically phone your bank and get them to reverse the dd, just make sure you send the goods back
-
Leonard, If you paid by paypal, from your bank account, do a DD indemnity claim. you can pull the dd money back,

sorry mate thats a load of c**p. Plate changes do not effect the number of registeed keepers in any way shape or form. is that for definate cos i heard that too and i think mine had one extra from a private plate! Nope I've got a brand new car, on a private plate, was on a normal plate and my log but says im the only keeper
-
the question you really should ask is what brake pad/disc combo is best?
-
