That would be a good test for the speed sensors on the wheels. The sensor that is probably causing me grief is the engine speed sensor. Thanks for the tip anyway. The speed senor for the spoiler is the VSS as it is correctly called :lol: and i thinki its in the gear box

VAG's own rack is VAG, Thule racks are totally different. VW's roof racks are still using the same clamps so the chance are one of them will fit. Used my OEM rack for the first time last wednesday!! 8)

Bolster, If your spoiler is going up then your speed sensor is working, However it may not be sending the signal to all the correct places!!

jims corrado, BTW Jim Check you rear brakes mate i noticed some strange looking wear on the rear dirvers side disc, Forgot to tell you on sunday, as when i spoted it you were not there. could of just been the brake discs going brown from the damp air and seeing as you only have a short ride to the show. -

It wasn't too bad, Got a cheap set of brake pads, (did arrive early though), Saw stevemac, dave0280, and Jim, Had a good chat before realising the time and vanishing to my grandparents for dinner :mad: What mad me laugh was the old camper van outside the show entrance that was for sale at £6000, now the thing was rusty as hell, and one step away from the scrappies!! -
did you see the project rallye conversion PVW have done a tt dash too, there are wires hanging all over the shop :shock:
