  1. change the filter first, mine is now silent after doing the filter.
  2. I saw a grey or dark silver Corrado on Sky news the other morning as ken Clarke was walking into his house, only saw half of it and didn't see a reg number. dont think Ken drives one though

    euro headlamps?

as far as i know the housings are all the same mounting wise , its just the american ones have different lenses and light setup i believe. I know BBM sell the euro light for the american market.
  4. I've got a Late G60 and its got a 70lit Tank, the most i've got into it was about 57liters or something. I thought i was running on vapour from the needle, (i'd drive down to gibralter for cheap fuel and was making the most of it) Filled the Tank for £17 thanks to safeways money off fuel scheme. Which by the way is a lot better in Gib than the UK. i think the max you can get off a liter in the UK is about 6ppl, i got 12ppl in gib. on top of the cheap gas.
  5. I let my old fiesta run down a little to low once, the filter got blocked with tiny bits of shiny metal, me and my dad finally worked out where they had come from. Everytime you put the fuel nozzel in at the garage it scrapes the filler neck etc. thus sending metal filings into the tank.
  6. He's Obviously came over the hill, hit the brakes, got a back wheel on the grass on the far side of the track and spun the car!! My mate tried that in his 309, we ended up on the roof in the middle of the road!! However, we got round the corner first!!
  7. what next???? Corrado Porn???
  8. I dont think VW sell them anymore, I heard Jabba sport had "sourced" a few brand new units from germany but you never now if these rumours are true or not.
  9. okay here are the Part Number i have on my LHD C 8N0 721 174 A BRAKE PEDEL COVER 8N0 721 176 A CLUTCH PEDAL COVER 8N1 721 847 GAS PEDAL COVER The gas pedal cover is 116MM (metal Bit) and the inside of the rubber is about 10mm shorter.
  10. incase you wanted to know who was best at a glace then look here
  11. anyone got an old radar sensor they have upgraded that i can borrow for testing here in spain. some strange new radar control signs are popping up here. All the units i've seen seem to be aimed at the uk market (cant think why) and i dont want to buy one at £400 to find out its usless.
  12. Anyone Know a good place to buy these in the midlands area as im back in the UK i intend to buy new discs and pads.
  13. Change the Cable first, only about €22 here in spain, order a new gromet to go into the bulk head too and one that goes in the pedal (if the pedal has been stiff the grommit in the pedal will be out of shape and the cable may pop out, Happened to me). grommits cost peanuts after all. You will need your chassie number to order the cable as there are several for all ages of C
  14. I'll take my pedal covers off tonight and measure the gas pedal cover and the pedal plate. then can someone do the same to a RHD Corrado Pedal and TT cover maybe dan, you can. I'll check for a part number too. Where did i put that tube of autosol???
  15. Toby, The pipe mounting points are different on the two pipes and the later pipe ( i Think) takes a slightly different route. you need the same pipe as you have got becasue the Silicon Hose at the top is different to. But if you fit a later type pipe then need a later type hose i have a spare. you can have for a £5+ postage.
  16. I thought TT pedal set were old had now and everyone was ordering the R32 ones
  17. I read an email/post about 18months ago and i remember that the conclusion was that the part numbers were wrong and you do infact need RHD parts for a RHD car. the only thing i can think of is compare the Corrado LHD and RHD gas pedel rubber part. As you can see in the top post they are LHD sets pictured. There are 3 LHD pedals for the C and only 2 RHD ones according to the parts CD 191 723 509 LHD man Alternative part 191 721 559 357 721 509 LHD Auto Alternative part 191 723 559 3A1 721 511 LHD ??? Auto with crusie control maybe?? No Alt part 358 721 509 A RHD Auto Alternative part 191 723 559 3A2 721 509 A RHD ???? No Alt Part basically the part numbers are from different chassis numbers, but i dont know if the foot plates are the same size. I know the RHD pedal set has a smaller Gas pedal cover so what size is the RHD Gas Pedal? It is my understanding the pedal is infact smaller than the LHD one.
  18. okay had this one before the LHD sets a RHD set are different, basically the LHD Gas pedal foot pad is bigger than the RHD one cos of the Wheel arch on the RHD models So you need to order the RHD set, many ppl got them off Ebay or part numbers from websites were they listed LHD parts. I've got the long gas pedal i'll take a pic off it tomorrow. I'm also ordering the Audi TT footrest.
  19. I've got one of them too!!!
  20. get away, was it hiding again!! The nicest Corrado in europe in my personal totally bias opinion
