  2. have you every changed your fuel filter, my old fiesta filter got blocked, same thing happened. horsesender, do you mean haulsender?
  3. dazzyvr6, Sometimes its best to leave a little to the imagination
  4. i think the lights are changable between early and late ones (I THINK) but the early ones are set deeper in the bumper. either that or the front face of the bumper is at a different angle or something daft, If you put the two style side by side you can see the difference

    MFA

Basically position one holds its memory for two hours so what ever journey you make are held in the memory for two hours, then cleared so basically if you drive your car to work, then an hour later drive it to a shop, the memory should still be there, if you then leave it two hours the memory will clear itself. position 2 hold the memory untill its reset. to reset either positions memory you need to put it onto anything other than the clock and slide the switch to position zero, there is a seperate reset for positon 1 and 2.

    TT gear shift

dan, Althought i've not heard of such a box to fit the corrado i have seen this seqshift kit there are a few videos of it in action too
  7. dubster82, I said the sockets not the mountings, thats also why the fogs and indicators are slightly different. the sockets where the lights go are the same basic shape front on, by deeper at the bottem than the top
  8. Andy T, Start your car without the handbrake on and see ifthe handbrake light comes on/stay on as/after you turn the key. I've got ABS and the ABS light goes out just after the handbrake light goes off regardless of the handbrake position.
  9. i put 98ron in all the time here its sin plomo 98 i think its super unleaded in the uk
  10. Double checked the handbook not you cant recirculate the air!
  11. okay easy way to get the "lights on buzzer" is check if your alarm has the ability to warn you of this, MY Clifford G4 system does. which heater controls do you have. I have Aircon but i think it the same for non ac models to. with the earliey type(slide controls) you move the top slider to the right hand side that turn the air con off and recirculates the air. the details should be in the owners manual
  12. you might find all you need to know here on this thread
  13. okay they are basically the same front and back the trim line in bumpers fades out on the later one, both front and back where as the older bumper trim line turns and goes over the top of the bumper towards the body. The front bumper light mounting sockets are different and the earlier lights as sunk in much deeper than the later ones. thus the lights are different. i've got a document somewhere at home that expalains most of the changes.

    Bonnets

early bonnet looks a bit like this ---___--- late bonnet looks a bit like this __-----__ and i think you will find the bulge was added for saftey reasons so the the space between the engine and bonnet remained enough that when hitting ppl the bonnet was "soft" rather that hitting straight into the engine if you know what i mean. if you look at the parts CD you will see that later models had different front and back bumper, wings, doors, all front lights, grill etc. I dont know what the difference is in the door but i noticed that there is two lots of part numbers for different chassie numbers.
  15. I'm going to make some connectors that mate with the plugs using the plugs as moulds. I hope if not then i'll sort something out
  16. Hi Guys I've just got hold of a load of headlamp plugs from a few srapyards and am going to be making an uprated loom that plugs directly into the present loom, no cutting, totally reversable. I have enough to make 3 looms so far one for myself and two others. I just need to source some good quality relays, fuse holders etc. I will supply the kit at cost so you can wire it yourself, pre made, or instructions to make your own from scratch. Basically i've got feed up with my lights, wasnt going to pay £30 or more for something that costs a few quid and messes up the loom, this may come out near £30 if you buy brand new VW connectors but, at least the loom is reversable. Sorry if i'm treading on any toes, but im doing something about it myself now.
  17. lots of engine work, head rebuild as the pistons hit the valves, new pistons, basically an engine rebuild.
  18. you can't, GET IT DONE the parts for a G60 cost bout £40 in your money, cant be much different for the 16v. a could garage should change it in less than 2 hours at MAX
  19. BTW did you know the GTi6 never made it onto the market here!! seems that it was a special for a few sport made countries. could that be pug selling to a market again??
  20. someone drop a 6 speed box in my g60 and ill take on any pug, im sure with a better ratio box and over drive i'd suprise a few 306 gti6 owners. they are quick for a pug, but im not supprised when you've got a 6 speed box to play with.

    Oh Bugger

If that part number for all models with and without AC, cos i cant check cos i havn't got my CD here today. thanks
  22. you could break that and make a nice profit even if the engine is a bit shagged.

    Safety

you can stick a full racing harness in if you want, but the air bag is a big tricky job as only a few corrado's every got airbags, and they were all american i believe
  24. if you buy the car get the rebuild off the price or get him to service the charger by G-werks or Jabba sport then you can see the report on the chargers condition before you buy!!
