looking at the audi A3 sport 1.8T... How much would it cost to get more power from the engine & what can it go to without spending crazy money? Chip it im guessing?

On Holyhead Road, Bangor..... Its the road that connects the Britania Bridge to Upper-Bangor. Its a 60mph road and should be a 40mph really. I spun my old mk2 golf on the same road a few years ago but there where no cars around luckly....

Feeling gutted this morning :( My best mate was killed last night in a head on crash overtaking another friend, in his Mk2 Golf that he loved so much.... Only takes a split second of madness i guess and thats that. The driver of the other car is in a stable condition which is good news though, but Phils + his car where in a real mess :( We always joked how you wouldnt want to crash in an older car too which seems ironic now.... Makes me want to go out and buy a car with crumple zones and SIPS.....

I have 2 VW specialist local to me so getting it looked at and serviced isnt a problem really. Wouldnt modify it and with me having a corrado at the mo anyway i just need one with a less hastle engine and if somthing goes wrong with the engine which is cheeper to fix. Also will i get better MPG with one compaired to the other?

In a few months i will be looking for a new car to buy after i sell my 16v corrado. But i cant decide on a VR6 C or a g60 Corrado / Golf ? Which is gonna be the best and most reliable engine to have. Had my 16v for 3 years almost and havnt had a single thing go wrong with it really. Not bad for a car thats done 159,000 miles. Fancy a g60 but are they really as expensive to service as everyone says. i do about 10,000 a year which mostly consist of 5 min journys (to work and back and the odd 30 min run lol :? I will have about £4500 to spend.... What u think??

Ive mounted my tweeters in the tops. Had to make custom mounts for them but great sound and keeps it all hidden away from the chavs... I also has to remove the doors cards for mine and whilst its off might be worth you running some new cable for the fronts as the old stuff is pants!

I really like them..... Would defo consider getting some if there was a group buy

Went to the local dealership this morning and came across this in the carpark... Had 38,200 on the clock. Very very clean Handy things camera phones :)

Found out yesterday that my mates 16v golf is missing all 4 nuts of the top half of the exhaust manifold and all the brace brackets from the inlet manifold to the engine. Am i right in thinking that they have 4 reverse threads which nuts go onto instead of bolts on the exhaust manifold? Some clown has put bolts in i think and they havnt been long enough and fallen out?? Where would be the best place to get these theads?

ive was having starting problems and so bought a new battery. Got the 61AH silver top for my 16v and its been starting fine since then. Also had one in my 8v golf and that never drained even with running 12" in both cars. Awsome batterys for the same price as the halfords ones.

Want to spray my front grill but cant get hold of my colour. Is there anywhere i could order that colour spray cos the local VW dealership cant get it :( Or is there anything similar?

How much would it cost to get flowed then. Might have to be a bit sly and take out sub, spare wheel, and the parcel shelf which seems to weigh a load too cos its been covered in what feels like lead :(
