Mines ok from cold starting but runs a hbit lumpy for a few min but when warm mines a bit of a pain and have to turn it for 5 sec's and then let it sort its self out too. Just cleaned my K&N and now its even more lumpy from cold so might have oiled the filter too much :wink: Gonna try new HT leads cos its got gradualy worse starting scince ive had the car which was about a year ago...

Belt is screeching when im reverse parking and at full lock now so i asume the belt need tightening or replacing?? how do i go about tightening the belt?

I really like it. My mates got one and i love them (Although his cam's have rusted during a service so its off the raod at the moment!)

My corrado has 158,000 on it now :(

if i do get some is there any difference between the performance ones and normal ones??

ye i did canged the rotor arm when i did the dizzy cap. Had to chizzle the old one of cos it was so tightly on :roll:

My car almost didnt start on the ferry at dublin yesterday :( All the car behind me couldnt get off and my RAC cover doesnt count over there i would have thought so i was sh^%ing it a bit. The engine just turned and turned wouldnt start.finaly did but wasnt looking good and was kind of the same on the way back! Its never been that bad but is worse starting in hot weather and in the morning and if its damp. Would old HT leads cause this as the insulation isnt affective in the heat? Replaced the dizzy cap etc not to long ago but not the leads?? or could it be somthing else??

i have the 50mm on mine and it never catches on a 40mm drop :)

that doesnt sound right. My 8v was quicker in the lower revs but nothing compared to the 16v once the revs are up and thus slower. Mine feels heavy against my mates 16v golf and that is much quicker than mine because of the weight.

Mine a dark green too buddy.... Not many about. I couldnt get a touch up pen even for mine cos they dont do it any more. only the spray :(

my car has been running like poo when cold over the past two weeks. always ran fine and then started to idle at about 800 and almost die when you put your foot down. sombody mentioned it may have somthing to do with the vacum switch or somthing like that? I asume hes on about the thing on the left hand side of the engine.. the car is a 1.8 16v.

whats best to cut this with as its metal and deep down? the gasket is popping into the spark tube all the way round where its compressed under pressure when they have put the top back on... ?

my mate said that i might have to trim the gasket inside but dont know what to cut it with or if i should at all?

Ive got a little spark plug remover and still wont go down as the gasket seems to be in the way? Has anyone else had this problem and what can i do?

is there a tool i need to get the spark plugs out of my 1.8 16v? when i went to use the rachet plug remover it was just a touch too wide to go down??

Has anyone suffered from the front hub bolt going loose. noticed the wheel clunking under corners so took wheel off and found the main hub blot was ultra loose. theres no pin or retaining washer etc to stop it loosening so just wondering if its a common problem?

Whahahahaaaa. That car looks sH*T. We have a few corsa's round here that look just as silly as that. Most of them have 1.2 engines. Oh dear oh dear. Little boys toys :|

the ones they sell for £20 are they the BBS RM ones with the round dimples on the edge?

What difference does it make putting a golf mk2 inlet manifold on ( the one fatter one). Also if i was to swap it then would i need to get the mixtures or anything else adjusted??

Where is the cheepest place to get a BBS centre cap? One of mine was stolen last night :(
