-
Where is it?

It failed on..... 1. Seezed hand brake cable - £15 2. The fella failed it because there was play in the wheel up and down after you locked the adjustable cloum. Honest to god there is so little its unbeleavable. :| So got to take it back on monday and there gonna fit a new hand brake cable when it arrives and hes gonna bolt the coloum, then get it passed at the garage, and then un-bolt it again. So monday should have an MOT for the car.

mines on 153,000 now. should get it service but its all extra £££. Burns a bit of oil now though. would that be the valve seals etc?? how much would it cost to get sorted? cheers

mine has a scratch in the same place when i bought the car. the sunroof tilts ok but wont go back anymore. worked out the is a little plastic part snapped on one side which seems to have caused this problem. from what i can tell this plastic part affects where the little moving catches sit and at what angle. means that when the sunroof closes the arm isnt going back down and this causes it to catch and not close maybe?

would have thought they split off from the front speaker wires but dont know??
-
dont know cos when i pulled it off it was already drilled the same as the insructions and it already had a k&N pannel filter when i bought it too. i was gutted cos i was looking forward to drilling the box too :(

i just got 3 meters of good audio wire and ran new wire to the doors, and get some gold connectors as this will help keep the quality too.
-
ive got a pair of 5" focals in the doors and mounted the tweeters on the top speaker bays with the cross overs hidden behind the black plasic bits next to the door in the foot well. Sounds awsome as the tweeters are very loud and the 5" act as mid range and the sub (or the 6x9's in your case) act as the base. This will be a good setup as i had my 6x9's just doing base before i got my sub.

Did mine today. Pulled it all off 2 find it was already drilled :) so got some 60mm duct pipeing and fitted that as well....

Heres a pic of my grill. Had 2 cut off all the plastic notches off and then black cable-tied the grill on. You can only see the cable ties if you look really hard but you wouldnt even notice unless you knew they where there. Was going to drill some holes on the back part of the grill and cable-tie threw the holes but you cant really get your hand behind the grill without any fuss and removing the radiator so didnt bother.

Maybe its a custom exhaust? its very loud and i mean very loud..... and it has no markings on it apart from the sticker which doesnt seem to be heat proof paper cos its burnt to black.
